Today was the day before our final exams. As always, I'm nervous. Well, I'm always nervous. It was after school right now. During school, however, Bakugo never left me out of his sight. I didn't miss the faint blush that appeared on his cheeks when I walked in and him hiding his face in his hands.

It was a painfully quiet day today. Nobody was really talking to anyone about anything and everyone was trying to cram in as much studying as they can. Like Izuku was studying in English for the whole period.

At lunch, everyone was quiet too. I saw Shinso in the lunchroom and I gave him a quick wave, which he returned. Although, I did get some nasty glares from his friends and the stupid hedgehog that sits across from me. I remember asking Bakugo if he was jealous which in turn had Sero and Kirishima teasing him for the rest of lunch.

Right now, I was walking to the cafe that I agreed to Bakugo and Kirishima at. They were already there though. I had to stay after school and get some notes from Ochaco, because, again, I am the worst at math. Like factoring polynomials? Who even does that? Why would I ever need that for hero work? (Sorry that was just me ranting because Algebra is literally bullshit.)

I got to the cafe and Bakugo and Kirishima were already yelling at each other. The waitresses look kind of concerned and noticeably avoided out area. I quickly walk over to their table and I sit down next to Bakugo.

"You guys are so fucking loud." I whisper-yell.

"If hair-for-brains actually listened in class then maybe I wouldn't be yelling!" Bakugo once again shouted out.

I start taking stuff out of my backpack. Along with some food that I stole from lunch. Kirishima was focused on his math homework. I saw that he also had English, Japanese and Science laying out.

"I got some notes from Ochaco for Math," I stated.

"Ok." They say.

We studied together for about two more hours before Kirishima had to go home. I was starting to doze off and so was Bakugo. We then both decided to go home after I accidentally took a five-minute nap and drooled all over my homework. Which was kind of embarrassing?

I was walking him to his house when I saw a familiar black hoodie with blueish-grayish tuffs of hair sticking out. I moved closer to Bakugo and wrapped my arm around his.

"Have you ever wanted to fly?" I ask quietly. I take off my jacket and let my wings come out. I hold Bakugo in a tight embrace.

"I can already-" I lift and I start flying towards his house. He was heavy as fuck. He started shaking in my grasp and he immediately wraps his arms around my neck.

"Sorry, there was a person in front of us who looked a lot like the villain dude from USJ." I see his house ahead and I start my descent. "You know, the one with the hands?" I land on the ground in front of his house. He jumps off of me and tries to regain his balance. He holds my hands while steadying himself. He starts walking towards his house.

"You are staying with me tonight." He mumbles.

"WHAT?! NO!" I get myself started to fly away.

"I'm not giving those villains a chance to take you away."

I put two hands over my heart. "Aw! You care about me?"

"Shut up," He grabs my wrist and practically drags me inside. "And I don't care about you." He mumbles the last part under his breath but I still hear him.

"Ah, well, here I was thinking that you had compassion." I chuckled. He opens the door to his house. I'm guessing his parents aren't home because the lights were off. It was only around seven o'clock so it was weird that his parents were away. He took me up to his room and I plopped myself onto his bed.

"You nervous about exams tomorrow?" I ask.

"No, I know I'm gonna be number one."

"I don't know, maybe I'll beat you."

"From the math that I saw you do today? Good luck."

"Fine, maybe the written portion," I turn towards him. "We also are going to be doing a physical exam, like where we go out and test our strengths."

"I'll still beat you."

"Mhm, you know I have a lot more power than you?"

"Says the one with burn scars all over your wrist."

"Hey! But you didn't deny it."

"I'm still a lot stronger than you, physically at least."

I look down at my phone. "That might be true, but I'm not even sure about the full extent of my quirk."

He moves to sit across from me on his bed. "Have you never used your quirk to it's maximum?"

"I did once. I remember it like it was yesterday."

"Get off the ground!" One of those stupid middle schooler kids said as he repeated to kick me in the ribs. I knew that he knew my bones were fragile.

This was my first year in middle school. I had been with these kids since third grade. My only friends at the time were Kirishima and Ashido. Even they started to be a little distant from me. They had their own problems.

"Leave me alone!" I scream out. More kids started to come over and indulge in the bullying. My head started to swarm and I started to freak out. My claws and wings started to come out. Followed with my horns. My mouth started to drool and foam and my eyes got really wide and bloodshot. The area around me started to hear up. The heat on the ground started to go through the kid's shoes and soon enough they were running away from me.

Scales started ripping through my legs and blood came with them. I cried out in pain. My head started to pound and smoke came out of my mouth. It looked like I was smoking a cigarette. The grass that was next to the concrete was now a black color.

I had a weird feeling in my stomach. I was hungry. The kids in front of me made my mouth water. That was what freaked me out the most because I was hungry for humans.

"Get away from her! She's a freak!" The same kid from before screamed. The other kids started to chant the word freak while simultaneously screaming.

I slowly stood up and a circle of white flames appeared before me. I looked down at my hands, red and orange blisters started appearing on my wrists and legs. My eyes started to bleed. I took out my phone and got a good look at my eyes. They were once a turquoise blue but now my whole eyeballs were black. It was a sight to see.

The exhaustion started to hit me and I fell to the ground. The flames went down and my physical quirk soon went away. My scales left deep scars along my legs. One of the teachers had come over and took me to the nurse. I passed out once I hit the cot.

"So yeah that is when I used my full power," I say to Bakugo.

"Woah. Wait so what happened, like why did your eyes become like that?"

"I'm still not sure but I think I was getting some of the behaviors of a dragon."

"That's weird."

We sat in awkward silence for a little bit. I was too anxious to sleep. Even though I did sleep back at the cafe. I was sort of hungry but I wasn't going to bother Bakugo about food so I stayed silent.

"I might just go home."

"What, why?"

"We have school tomorrow and I look ugly when I wake up in the mornings." I start getting all my stuff together. I walk over to Bakugo and land a small peck on his cheek. Before I leave I hear a small sentence come out of his mouth.

"You could never look ugly."

(A/N: I wanted to add some fluff because I feel like this needs some action and this coronavirus thing is giving me too much free time and ugh, anyways sorry about the shitty writing.)
