I was currently at my sisters apartement right now. The police had already asked me all the questions they needed to ask. My sister arrived and gave them other information about my mom, then we went home. I had stopped crying at that point. I felt as if I couldn't physically cry anymore, but everytime I think of her, my heart clenches and I feel like I'm falling into a million pieces. I had already lost my dad and now my mom.
It was currently three am in the morning. We got back to Ryuko's apartment around midnight. She tried to talking to me but I brushed her off. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't even close my fucking eyes without seeing her dead body. I tried to go to sleep right when I got home. I managed but right when I did I had a nightmare ful sleep.
My sister was up as well. She was sitting by the house phone and watching the TV. She was waiting for any updates. The cause of death wasn't revealed yet. I already knew what it was. A stabbing. I saw it in her chest. The deep indentations where they stabbed her mercilessly. I think the police were trying to find out who in the League of Villains did it. I started thinking about it too. The hands dude would be too obvious if he used his quirk. I just couldn't think of who would do it.
I stayed up till five a.m, looking at my phone. I finally feel asleep for a good three hours before I was woken up again by another stupid nightmare. I got up from my bed and went and searched for some food. My sister took the day off. She wanted to be there for me. Or she wanted me to be there for her. I guess when your job is to protect everyone, it kinda sucks when you can't protect the ones closest to you.
"Ryuko," I turn to look towards her before speaking again. "I'm meeting with a friend today at the mall." I give her a small smile.
"Are you sure you can go?" She looks up from the TV and at me. She has a sad look in her eyes.
"Yeah, I just want to take my mind off it." I mumbled.
"Okay, do you want me to make you something to eat?" She got up from her seat and started walking into the kitchen.
"No, I'm good, thank you." I reach for a granola bar in the cabinet and I grab a gatorade from the fridge. I start walking back to my room again. I sit down at my desk and I open my laptop. I start watching some anime to take my mind off of the events. I keep telling myself in my head that this is just character development. Which isn't helping at all.
At around noon I start getting ready. I put on a pair of mom jeans and a black halter top. I grab a flannel shirt and a pair of sunglasses. I tie my flannel around my waist. The clock read 12:29. It's going to take twenty minutes to fly there. I'll meet him at the food court. I grab my phone and my wallet and I head off.
I say my goodbyes. I walk down the apartment stairs and when I get to the bottom there are only a few people on the street. Good, I can use my quirk without anyone getting in the way. I take my wings out and I start flying. In my flight, birds fly by me. Swans to be exact. They fly with me for about ten minutes before we separate.
I start making my descent when I see my destination. I was going at incredibly high speeds and I almost landed face-first into the pavement. Just wait til I get my license. I landed in an alleyway that was across the street. I started walking over to the mall. I put my wings away and I took out my phone. It said 12:45. I'm early. But early then late. I made it to the food court and I sat down at one of the tables. I mindlessly scrolled through my phone.
Around 12:55, I texted Bakugo and told him that I was in the food court. He replied with 'okay'. He go to the mall five minutes after one. We started walking around the mall. We walked for about an hour, until Bakugo turned to me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing," I give a look, before continuing on our walk. "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"You can tell me, I won't tell anyone."
"Um, well remember how that villain attacked me right? And how they were part of the Leagues of Villains?" My eyes started to tear up, and my voice got slightly higher pitched. "Well, the league killed me mom yesterday and they said they'll attacking people around me and-"
"I'M GOING TO KILL THOSE BASTARDS!" Bakugo screams at the top of his lungs. A bunch of people started to look at him and I even heard a child start to cry.
"Shut the fuck up, you're drawing attention to us." I hissed at him. I grabbed his hand and started walking out of the mall.
"DON'T TELL ME TO SHUT UP!" Bakugo was practically gnawing my hand off his.
"I'll tell you whatever I want when you are acting like this!" I shouted back at him. I tugged on his arm and keep walking out of the mall. "Now come on!"
He stayed silent. Wow, that worked? I must be a miracle worker. We finally made it out of the mall and I started walking down the street more. I know there was a good chinese restaurant around here and I've been craving some dumplings and some mapo tofu. I let go of Bakugo's hand after awhile and I continue my journey.
"Where are we going?" He asks.
The restaurant is just up ahead and start speed walking towards the door.
"I've been craving some chinese food and this place has the best chinese food that I've ever had, so we are going here." I open the door and I start walking in. I sit in my usual spot and Bakugo follows. "Order whatever you'd like."
The rest of the day consisted of us stuffing our faces til our stomach's content. Then us fighting over the bill. He won. Which was stupid because he literally went up to one of the waitresses WHILE she was with another customer and handed her the check along with her card. I was so pissed off.
Then Katsuki went to the bathroom and one of the waiters that I know there asked me about him. The waiters name was Makoto, he is an older man who has worked at the restaurant longer than I've been alive. I told him that he was just a friend.
After that Katsuki came out and he headed off to another adventure. Right now it was four p.m. Katsuki and I were just sitting at the park on the grass. We were both looking at our phones and while the sun was going down. I got a text from my sister saying that dinner will be ready in an hour.
"Hey, I have to go." I started getting up from my spot. He started getting up as well. "Thanks for hanging out with me today!" I gave him a small hug. I took off my flannel and my wings started coming out.
"You're going to fly home?"
"Yeah what other way?"
"Nevermind..."
"Ahhhh, is the big bad Bakugo worried for his sweet wittle soulmate?" I gave a lovey dovey face and I give him a big smile. "I didn't know you were capable of those emotions."
"SHUT UP I'M NOT WORRIED!" He shouts. A flock birds start flying away from a tree that they were once perched on. "AND I AM CAPABLE OF THOSE EMOTIONS!"
"Whatever you say." I said while laughing at his impression. "I'll see you in a couple days!"
"See ya." He mumbled.
I started flying off towards my house. The sky gave off an red and pink color. I was bored so I did a couple of loop-to-loops. I finally see my apartment in view and start descending. I land right in front of the apartment entrance before making my way inside.
My sister was already cooking dinner when I got inside. I set my stuff down and went back in to my room.
