Fire in Her Eyes (Bakugo x OC)

Chapter 11

(A/N: I'm gonna be changing stuff around because I need it for the story)

All of the students went to the lunch room to eat. I couldn't find Bakugo anywhere, or Todoroki, of Midoriya. I wonder where they are at. I start wondering around the building when I hear some voices. I recognize them as Todoroki and Midoriya. Bakugo is leaning up against the wall. I could tell he was listening. He looks over towards me and puts a finger up to his mouth signaling me to be quiet. I walk next to him and I only here the end of the conversation before they stop talking and walk away. He sits down against the wall and I sit down next to him. 

"Don't let it get to your head, I'm only being nice to you because I tolerate you." He mumbles. 

"No, you looooove me." I giggle to myself. "The next round should be fun." 

"Yeah, we get to show off our quirks and I know I'm going to end up number one." He said.

I start getting up from where I sat and I walked down the hallway. I turn back to look at him. "Good luck with that." I smirked and kept walking. 

When lunch was over, everyone started walking out to the stadium again. Midnight was announcing who was going to move on. I guess all of my teammates felt like they were cheating. Which I mean...I kind of was...but like I really want to fight...and I know it's not hero like...but still. 

Kirishima was practically crying over how 'manly' they were being. It was pretty adorable. 

"Youthful talk like that is something...I like!" Midnight says. "Shoda! Ojiro! I accept your withdrawal!" Midnight moved two people up from the teams that didn't make it. Which was Tetsutetsu. The girl with vines for hair and the guy with...uh...interesting eyelashes got moved up. Midnight showed us the brackets based on the drawing. 

I'm fighting Ashido! Oh this'll be easy! I know her fighting style and her weaknesses. But she knows mine...Well this should be fun. If I win that one, then I fight Momo or Tokoyami. That's good. They both seem like a good competitor. 

I look over towards Ashido is practically shaking with happiness. "Promise you won't go easy on me?" I ask. 

She gives me a thumbs up before going to talk to Kirishima. I look towards the screen again. Bakugo looks so calm right now. I know that that won't last long. He's probably just saving his energy. 

We all sit down in the stadium seats. I sit in the row in front of Bakugo. The first fight is Midoriya vs Shinso. This'll be good. The fight started with Shinso asking him a question. Midoriya was then succumbed to Shinso's brainwashing quirk. I could tell that Midoriya was fighting the urge. He was right at the finish line and then he stopped. Did Shinso do this? No, it was all Midoriya. Midoriya used his fingers to snap out of his quirk. The shock from it released him from being brainwashed. Midoriya looks back at Shinso and starts running towards him. Midoriya starts pushing him closer and closer to the bounds. Shinso punches Midoriya in the face. Which made me jump a bit. They start punching each other before Midoriya grabs onto Shinso and flips him out of bounds. 

"Midoriya advances to round two!" Midnight announces. 

The next fight is Todoroki and Sero. So tape guy and half-and-half bastard as Bakugo likes to call him. The fight starts with Sero sending tape towards Todoroki, he binded him and was swinging him around everywhere. The fight soon ends quickly with Todoroki sending a huge blast of ice towards Sero which ultimately made him unable to move. 

Next is Kaminari vs Shiozaki. Which was quite boring. I think the vine girl won. I stopped paying attention after that. My next fight was coming up soon. I had to think of a plan. I was thinking about using my new move on Ashido. Which would be cool and painless and easy. I won't have to hurt anyone if I do that. Another fight when up and I think it was against Iida and some girl named Hatsume. I guess this was her chance to show off her gadgets. Which lasted a long ten minutes. Then she just stepped out of bounds. 

Now it was my turn. 

"Next we have Mina Ashido, her team came in second for the cavalry battle, vs Akira Tatsuma, she came in second place during the obstacle race!" Present Mic announces. 

I walk onto the arena. Ashido and I make dead eye contact. The fire in my palms are starting to get ready. "Hey Ashido! Don't go easy on me alright!" I said. 

"As long as you promise the same!" She says. She starts throwing acid balls towards me. One hits my arm and I cry out in pain. I get close enough to where I can use my move. I project a big blast of fire from one of my hands. The fire mixes with the cool air around me and makes a small explosion. This then sets Ashido out of bounds. That was quick though. She gets up and looks at me in shock. What? I didn't go easy on her. 

"Akira Tatsuma moves to the next round!" Midnight announces. 

She brushes herself off before walking up to me. She looked emotionless. I couldn't tell what she was feeling. 

"That was awesome Akira!" She wrapped an arm around my shoulder. We started walking out of the stadium. 

"Thanks!" I showed her my sleeve where her acid was. "You got me a little bit." I gave her small smile. 

We made it back to stands and I sat down next to Bakugo again. 

"Where did you learn that move?" He asked. 

"A friend." 

The next battle was about to start, this battle was to decide who would fight me. Which is kind of nerve racking considering they were both really strong competitors. 

Momo and Tokoyami walk onto field. You could tell Momo was nervous. The fight started and Dark Shadow started attacking Momo. The attacks came with no warning and no time to prepare. Momo couldn't make her weapons fast enough. Dark Shadow manages to push Momo out of bounds. I don't think she realizes it though, because she made another weapon. 

"Yaoyorozu is out of bounds." Midnight calls. 

I guess I'm fighting Tokoyami. 

I have to figure out his quirk though. His quirk is called Dark Shadow. Well, what are the opposite of darkness and shadows? 

We are natural enemies then.
