Fire in Her Eyes (Bakugo x OC)

Chapter 25

Mineta and Sero passed. Now it was time for Midoriya and Katsuki. I think I might start calling him by his first name. It sounds better. 

Anyways, I went back to the watch room where almost everyone else was. Including Recovery Girl. Midoriya had already left. I wished him good luck on his way to his arena. He looked nervous and scared. I felt kind of bad for him, considering I felt one of Katsuki's explosions on my back before. 

"Team Midoriya and Bakugo practical exam." The intercom announced. "Ready, go!" 

All Might stood in front of the gate waiting for them. They stood on the other side, Katsuki started walking ahead of Midoriya, leaving him at the entrance. Midoriya runs to catch up with him. That was a bad idea. Katsuki already seems mad enough. But someone has to get through his thick skull. 

Katsuki leaves Midoriya behind and continues to walk down the straight path again. Midoriya speeds up to Katsuki and Katsuki turns around and hits him in the face with grenade gauntlet. I internally winced. This isn't going to be good. If they can't work together then I'm not sure they'll be able to pass. 

As they were fighting, All Might sends a big blast of air that picked up a bunch of rubble towards their direction. It sends the two boys flying backward. All Might sends another big draft of air and slowly gets closer to them. Smoke surrounded them so it was kind of hard to see. All Might starts lunging towards Katsuki. Katsuki prepares his grenade and blasts it in All Might's face. Katsuki then jumps above All Might and attempts to blast him again. 

But All Might had other plans, he grabs onto Katsuki's face and he starts blasting multiple explosions into All Might's body. He grabs Katsuki's hand and smashes him into the ground, creating a crater around Katsuki's body. 

The pain throughout my body is shocking and knocked the wind out of me. I fall to the ground and clutch my side. 

"Akira! Are you okay?" Ashido shouts as she runs over to me. 

Tears well up in my eyes. "I-I'm fine," Her eyes hold concern and so do everyone else's. She helps lift me off the ground so I can watch the rest of the fight. The pain was unbearable. I think Katsuki probably got a concussion from that blow. 

I missed some of the fights, but when I went back to watching Midoriya was gone. Katsuki appeared out of thin air and was right behind Midoriya. They crashed into each other mid-air and they both land on the ground. That fall didn't hurt too bad. 

Katsuki stands up and starts walking towards All Might, who is just standing there. Katsuki has a frightening look on his face. He looks like he wants to kill All Might, probably does. All Might comes flying out of the sky with some random part of a fence and uses it to pin Midoriya to the floor. 

All Might then uppercuts into Katsuki's rib cage. That itself made me fall on the floor. My breathing became rigid and tears were now pouring out of my eyes. The rest of the class started swarming around me. 

"Akira! What happened? Are you okay?" I hear multiple voices say. I just continue to cry of the floor clutching my stomach. 

It feels like I'm going to throw up. I might throw up. Ashido helps me up and takes me to the rest area. I vomit into a trash can. Some of my other classmates follow. 

My jaw started to hurt, I'm guessing a blow to the face. I cover my mouth and wince. I finally start to calm down. No more hits, yet. The pain started to subside for a while. Did they win? Did they finally compromise? I hope. 

I was wrong. Another blow to the bottom of my chin that made my toes curl. My whole head started to ache. It felt like my head suddenly exploded. A huge migraine followed. At this point, my whole body ached. I keep feeling little pains here and there. 

A bunch of my classmates was really interested in what was happening. Thankfully, Ashido, Kirishima, and Sero pushed them out of the waiting room. They keep giving me worried glances as I sat on one of the chairs in front of a trashcan.

Pain suddenly shot up my back. I winced and got ready to hurl again. My wrist was filled with aching pain. I guess he used his quirk to its maximum potential. My arms shot up in pain as well. He was really going all out, wasn't he? 

More pain erupted throughout my body. It felt like dying. If I ever knew what that felt like. I cried out in pain and doubled over. My loud sobs filled the room. Ashido put an arm around me and said comforting words in my ear. Which wasn't helping. 

I tried focusing on other things to take my mind of the pain. Finally, the pain felt like it was going away. Either he was unconscious or he magically healed himself. I hope it was the second. 

"Midoriya and Bakugo have passed!" The intercom announced. "All matches for class 1-A have been completed!" 

I get up from my seat and start walking towards the door. I clutched my stomach as I walked. I was afraid of seeing how beat up Katsuki looked. I practically jog towards the recovery room. I wanted to see him so badly. When I got there, they were just putting the two boys in the room. Midoriya was still awake but was in an awkward position where his butt was up in the air. 

That did not help my dirty conscience. Katsuki was pretty beat up looking. His face was relaxed, come to think of it, he looked really handsome when he didn't want to murder someone. 

"Bakugo probably won't wake up for a while." Recovery Girl said to me. 

"C-can I wait here?" 

"You may." 

Katsuki woke up about thirty minutes later. Midoriya already left after his mom had picked him up. Katsuki looked over at me and gave me a saddened look. 

"You passed!" I congratulated. 

He grumbled and tried to get up. All of his wounds were healed. So he didn't really need my help. But I still helped him anyways. 

"I'm sorry." He mumbled. "I know you felt it." 

"It's fine, Katsuki," I looked down at the ground as we walked out of the recovery room. "It didn't really hurt-" 

"Yes it did, I threw up at some point." 

I sighed and continued walking. I went to the locker room and changed. I met Katsuki outside and walked with him home. 

"Wanna go get some food?" I point to a restaurant. "I got money." 

"Fine." 

We ate our food in complete silence. I got a big bowl of some spicy ramen and Katsuki got spicy curry. Which was what he always got. 

"You did really great. I watched some of it." It was already night time. The moon was full and high in the sky. 

"I watched yours, you didn't do much." 

"I didn't feel like using my quirk." We walk to a random park and sit in the soft grass. 

"I didn't know that you could throw knives." 

"Yeah, my dad taught me before he passed." 

"Cool." 

"Yeah." 

The day ended with Katsuki carrying my sleeping form back to his house. I felt him lay me down on a chair and then I fully passed out. My mind was swirling about my test scores and such. My dreams consisted of giraffes for some reason. 

At some point, I woke up and went to Katsuki's bed. I snuggled under the blanket and into his arms. I kissed his cheek before falling back asleep again.
