Fire in Her Eyes (Bakugo x OC)

Chapter 13

The fight between the vine girl and Iida ended quickly. Iida managed to push her out of bounds with his speed. She didn't have enough time to react. That was probably one of the worst pair-ups like ever. 

Anyways, now was time for my fight against Tokoyami. I got up from my seat and started walking downstairs. I wasn't really nervous. The only reason I might be a little nervous is that I'll have to fight Bakugo if I win this. Which isn't the most settling thing to think about. Especially that he's Bakugo. 

I walked down the hallway. A man was standing there. He had a hoodie over his head and looked really dark and brooding looking. I walked past him. 

"What? You aren't going to say hi?" The voice that I recognized as Dabi said. 

"Hi, what are you doing here?" I asked. I turn to look at him. A big smile was present on my face. 

"I wanted to see if you were using what I taught you." 

"If I win this fight then I'll use it in the next one." 

"Ok, well good luck." He holds out his hand for me to shake.

"Thanks." I gladly take it. I start walking down the hallway and eventually I'm in the tunnel that leads out into the stadium. I start walking out. I get my hand warmed up and ready. 

"For our next fight we have, Akira Tatsuma versus Fumikage Tokoyami!" Present Mic announces. 

Dark Shadow comes out of Tokoyami. Dark Shadow tries to push me out of bounds. I blast a huge wall of fire towards him. He winces and he looks like he was getting smaller and smaller. So, I was right. Dark Shadow's weakness is light. I start blasting more flames towards Dark Shadow's direction until he completely disappeared. I run at full speed towards Tokoyami. I grab him by his arms and I try to throw him out of bounds. He lands right before it. I use my fire explosion to push him out. He lays there, defeated. 

(A/N: I'm sorry some of her battle scenes aren't good but I promise I'll make the next one better.)

"Tokoyami is out of bounds, Tatsuma advances to the next round." Midnight announced. 

I look up to where Bakugo was sitting. He had a smirk on his face. I did too. I give him a thumbs up before walking to the inside of the stadium. 

The next fight was Iida vs Todoroki. Which I think would be quite boring. Although Iida looks like he's having a rough day. I am too. Even though I've been winning my fights, I'm just nervous. Maybe I'll call my mom. Or my sister. 

I get my phone from my locker and I make a quick call to my mom. The line rings for about five minutes. I guess she isn't there. I call my sister instead. She picked up. 

"Hey! I just saw your fight!" Ryuko excitedly spoke. From the noises in the back I could tell that she was in the middle of work. 

"Really? Do you think I was good?" 

"Totally, you've kind of had the upper hand throughout the Sports Festival." 

I started walking back to the waiting room. I needed some peace and quiet so I can focus on the next battle. 

"What are you going to do for the next battle? I heard you were going up against your soulmate!" She says the last part in an annoying gushy voice.

"Oh my god, be quiet, and I don't know. I just I wanted to save my quirk for his round because he is a tough competitor and this'll be super hard to defeat him." 

"You could always use the straddling techniques that I taught you." She suggested. "Like if you manage to get into close combat with him, you could hold him down long enough so that you can win."
