Jimin had settled back into his routine at work, but something had undeniably shifted. Ever since reconnecting with his family, his days had been brighter, filled with a sense of belonging that he hadn’t felt in years. His mother’s frequent video calls brought warmth to his evenings, and though he missed her and his father, those moments helped bridge the distance.

Jungkook? Well, Jungkook sent him texts every day, but Jimin rarely responded. He wasn’t sure why he kept his replies short. Maybe it was the awkwardness that still lingered after their reunion or the unresolved feelings between them. Whatever the reason, it was easier to keep things at a distance for now.

Mingyu, on the other hand, had become a constant in Jimin’s life. In a surprising turn of events, Mingyu had taken over his family’s business and was now the CEO of Kim’s Hotel. What had started as a simple vacation had turned into a life-altering decision for him, and Jimin admired the way Mingyu effortlessly stepped into his new role. But despite his responsibilities, Mingyu always made time for Jimin.

One afternoon, Jimin sat in Mingyu’s office, fiddling with his phone, his thoughts miles away.

"Hyung, I want to go home," Jimin said suddenly, his voice soft but filled with longing.

Mingyu looked up from his desk, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Is this your way of inviting me to meet my mother and father-in-law?" he teased, flashing Jimin a playful grin.

"Hyung!" Jimin’s cheeks flushed, and he swatted at Mingyu’s arm, clearly flustered. "I'm serious."

Mingyu laughed, raising his hands in mock surrender. " I'm just teasing." He leaned back in his chair, watching Jimin with a curious expression.

Mingyu couldn't help but laugh as Jimin's pouty lips formed, trying to show he was upset. But his cute, almost childlike expression betrayed him. He wasn’t really mad, and Mingyu knew it.

"Okay, cutie, I’ll go with you," Mingyu said, smiling warmly.

Jimin’s eyes lit up instantly. "Really, hyung? You’ll do that for me?"

"Anything for you, Cutie. I’d do anything to see you smile." Mingyu’s voice was sincere, and the look in his eyes held nothing but affection. He couldn’t stand seeing Jimin sad. This guy had been through enough pain, and all Mingyu wanted was to make sure Jimin felt nothing but happiness from now on. Jimin deserved the world, and if Mingyu had anything to say about it, he'd do everything in his power to make that happen.

Later that evening, they arrived at Jimin’s family home. As they stepped out of the car, Jimin’s excitement quickly turned to confusion.
