Jimin was completely engrossed in his work, oblivious to Jungkook's presence. His hands moved swiftly across the desk, sorting through a series of wedding photos for a client's photo book. Every so often, Jimin would bite his lower lip, clearly dissatisfied with the arrangement of some pictures.

Across the room, Jungkook watched silently, his chin resting on his hand as he admired the way Jimin worked. His eyes softened as he observed the intense focus on Jimin's face. Even in such a simple task, his lover was completely absorbed, lost in the moment. Finally, unable to resist, Jungkook spoke up.

“You look stressed.”

Jimin jumped, clutching his chest as he whipped around to face Jungkook. “Gosh, hyung, you scared me!” he exclaimed, wide-eyed.

With a playful grin, Jungkook leaned back in his chair. “It’s just a photo, Mochi. No need to stress so much over it.”

Jimin shook his head, still catching his breath from the surprise. “Hyung, this isn’t just a photo. These are memories,” he said, lifting a few of the wedding shots Jungkook had taken.

He spread them out in front of Jungkook, his fingers brushing over the images tenderly. “Some people might not think much of it, but for me, every picture holds a thousand meanings. It’s a moment we’ll never get back. We can recreate a scene, but it’ll never feel exactly the same. These photos—" Jimin paused, his voice filled with emotion, "—they're priceless. As we grow older, they’re the only way we can hold onto those moments."

Jungkook’s heart swelled with pride. Jimin’s words were a testament to how deeply he valued life, every second, every memory. It made Jungkook ache, thinking about the years they had lost—twelve long years of memories they could’ve made together.

He wasn't about to let more time slip away.

“Let’s start today,” Jungkook said suddenly, his eyes lighting up with an idea.

Jimin tilted his head in confusion. “Start what?”

“Start creating memories of us,” Jungkook explained, the excitement clear in his voice. “We’ve missed so much time already. Let’s make up for it.”

Jimin’s face softened, a shy smile tugging at the corners of his lips

Jimin’s face softened, a shy smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “You want to do that?” he asked, his voice almost hesitant, as if afraid the moment might slip away.

“I already love the idea, even before we start,” Jungkook replied, his voice warm and reassuring. “We’ll take loads of pictures together, and we can hang them all around our room. Every day, we’ll see our memories. In fact, I’ll give you a whole room just to decorate with our photos. We’ll even put a sign on the door—‘Memories with Jeon Jimin.’ How does that sound?”

Jimin’s eyes shimmered with emotion. The thought of filling their home with memories, of documenting their shared moments, overwhelmed him. He could feel how much Jungkook wanted to make up for the lost time, how eager he was to build a future with him.

“Thank you, hyung,” Jimin whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

Jungkook cupped Jimin’s cheek, noticing for the first time how much thinner his brother had become. He frowned, his thumb gently brushing over Jimin’s skin. “Why do you look so skinny, Mochi? Your cheek…”

Jimin pouted, giving Jungkook a teasing look. “Hyung, it’s your fault!”

“My fault?” Jungkook asked, his brows furrowed in confusion

“My fault?” Jungkook asked, his brows furrowed in confusion. “How is this my fault?”

“You’re not feeding me enough!” Jimin whined dramatically. “More chicken stew! I need my chicken stew!”

Jungkook couldn’t help but laugh. Chicken stew was Jimin’s ultimate comfort food, and he asked for it almost every week. “Chicken stew? Again? Aren’t you tired of it?”

“Nope!” Jimin grinned, leaning closer. “In fact, I’d be thrilled if you cooked it every single day.”

Jungkook shook his head, still smiling at Jimin’s playfulness. “Not every day, baby.”

He gently brushed the bangs out of Jimin’s eyes, revealing the full beauty of his face. Jimin pouted again, giving him those irresistible puppy eyes that Jungkook could never say no to. It was the same look that always made him smile, no matter what.

“Fine,” Jungkook said, still chuckling softly. “I’ll cook chicken stew more often. But only because you’re cute.”

Jimin giggled, leaning into Jungkook’s touch. The love between them was palpable, filling the room with warmth. And as they sat there, basking in the simple joy of each other’s presence, Jungkook knew one thing for sure—they were going to make all the memories they could, starting now.
