Today, Jungkook had a pre-wedding shoot scheduled. Of course, he brought along his most trusted assistant: none other than his beloved Mochi, Jimin. Not that Jungkook really needed the help—he could easily handle the shoot by himself—but he enjoyed having Jimin by his side. His presence always made everything more enjoyable.
Once the shoot wrapped up, Jungkook immediately set out to find Jimin. He spotted him standing by the beach, his gaze fixed on the horizon with a dreamy look in his eyes, lost in thought.
“Is this place pretty?” Jungkook asked, coming up behind him with a soft smile.
Jimin turned, slightly startled but happy to see his brother. “Hyung...”
“What are you doing over here?” Jungkook teased. “You should’ve been by my side, Mr. Assistant. I’m paying you for this, Jeon Jimin.”
Jimin huffed, crossing his arms. “You told me you didn’t need me!”
Jungkook stepped closer, a playful glint in his eyes. “I always need you.”
Jimin rolled his eyes, but a smile tugged at his lips. “You kicked me out, though.”
Jungkook chuckled, remembering. “That’s because one of the groom’s friends was getting a little too friendly with you.”
Jimin frowned. “He was just being polite.”
Jungkook narrowed his eyes. “Polite, sure... but flirting? Definitely. I saw the way he was smiling at you.”
Jimin let out a sigh. “Hyung, you’re overreacting.”
“Well, it's not my fault you’re cute, pretty, handsome, fluffy, chubby, short, sexy, and—”
“Hyung, stop!” Jimin blurted out, his face flushing bright red as he hid his face in his hands.
Jungkook couldn’t help but laugh at how easily Jimin got embarrassed. He reached out to gently pull Jimin’s hands away from his face, loving the shy pout on his brother’s lips.
“Let’s go home, Jeon Jimin,” Jungkook said, still chuckling as he grabbed Jimin’s hand.
The two brothers began walking back, hand in hand, teasing each other as they went. Their bond was unbreakable, and anyone who saw them could sense their deep connection. They were in their own little world, completely ignoring everything and everyone around them.
As they walked, Jungkook decided to break the silence with one of his notorious brain teasers. “Hey, Mochi. What water is brave?”
Jimin blinked, utterly confused. “Water? Brave?”
Jungkook nodded, trying to keep a straight face. “Yup, it’s a brain teaser. You need it, Mochi, because your brain... well, you know...” He trailed off teasingly, smirking as Jimin playfully smacked his arm.
Jimin pouted, his curiosity piqued. “Hot coffee?” he guessed.
“Wrong,” Jungkook sang with a grin.
“Hot chocolate?”
“Nope.”
“Hot tea?”
Jungkook laughed. “You’re stuck on the ‘hot’ answers, huh?”
Jimin’s lips curved into a mischievous smile. “Well, I’m the only ‘hot’ thing here,” he said, giving his best smoldering look before licking his plump lips seductively.
Jungkook's finger immediately poked Jimin’s lips, making him laugh. “Don’t do that!”
“I give up,” Jimin whined, his stomach growling. “I’m too hungry to think. My brain’s not functioning anymore.”
Jungkook looked at him sympathetically. “Alright, let’s eat. I can make something at home, or we can eat out. Your choice.”
“I want your cooking, hyung.”
Jungkook chuckled, knowing Jimin always preferred home-cooked meals. “Okay, but if you guess the answer correctly, I’ll buy you a new phone.”
Jimin’s eyes lit up. His current phone was broken, and he desperately needed a new one. “iPhone?”
“Nokia!” Jungkook joked.
“Hyung!” Jimin whined, hitting Jungkook’s arm repeatedly. “Don’t joke like that!”
“Okay, okay. iPhone it is. But you have to answer the question first.”
Jimin thought for a moment, wracking his brain. “Iceberg?” he guessed, sounding unsure.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, impressed. “Ooh, using your brain now?”
Jimin’s face brightened. “Did I get it right? Do I get a new phone?”
Jungkook smirked. “Wroooonnnggg!”
Jimin pouted, smacking Jungkook’s arm again. “You gave me false hope!”
Jungkook laughed, pulling Jimin closer as they neared their home. “The answer is waterfall,” he finally revealed.
Jimin furrowed his brows. “Why?”
“Because it’s brave enough to jump from a high place and crash to the ground,” Jungkook explained with a grin.
Jimin groaned. “I hate that answer.”
Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head. “You just need to think a little more, Mochi.”
As they reached the front door of their home, Jimin crossed his arms. “Open the door,” he demanded, still pouting from the brain teaser.
Jungkook leaned against the door, smirking. “Kiss me first.”
“No way. You’re annoying,” Jimin shot back, turning away in mock frustration.
“If you kiss me, I’ll buy you an iPhone,” Jungkook teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
Jimin paused, narrowing his eyes. “You’re not joking?”
Jungkook shook his head. “I’m not joking.”
Jimin’s lips curved into a smile as he leaned in, giving Jungkook a quick, innocent kiss on the lips. But Jungkook wasn’t satisfied with that. His hand gently grabbed the back of Jimin’s neck, pulling him in for a deeper, heated kiss.
When they finally pulled apart, Jungkook whispered against Jimin’s lips, “Hyung loves you.”
Jimin smiled softly, about to reply when they were interrupted by a voice from behind.
“What the hell are you guys doing?”
Startled, they turned around to find someone standing at the gate, watching them in amusement.
