S3 E1: The Spark

Christine: Recap time!

Samantha: After a long and grueling fight with Evolt we managed to knock him out.

Christine: And as it turns out Jack was within all along! I think he'll be okay!

Samantha: I hope this finally proves to Davis that he was within this whole time.

Christine: But I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Evolt. Look into this episode to find out what he might be up to!

[Cue Intro]

(Flashback begins, setting is somewhere off campus. Jack walks around)

Jack: Man I'm bored... And I can't find Christine.

(Suddenly he trips over something and falls on his face. He then looks down to see a strange gun)

Jack: Huh, what's this?

(Jack only picks up the gun before he goes stiff, as if something is possessing him)

Evolt: (Voice) Ha ha ha ha ha! Thank you very much!

Jack: What the?! Who are you?! Gah!

Evolt: (Voice) You don't need to know who or what I am. What matters is I will be borrowing your body. Just bear with me and you'll come out of this alive.

Jack: I don't care what you want with me! Get out of my-

(Jack's head whips around as if being violently shaken before it slumps down, eyes closed. When his eyes open they remain the same, but he now has a stoic, almost robotic expression on his face)

Jack: That was a little harder than I thought, but well, time to get used to this.

(The flashback ends and Jack is sitting with Christine and the others)

Jack: And that's what happened.

Davis: Man... I'm really sorry I doubted you. Especially you Samantha... I still can't believe I was wrong all that time.

Jack: Not only that, I remember everything I did... And he did some vile stuff while he was using my body.

Samantha: I'm really sorry...

Jack: I even remember putting Christine under my control... Can you ever forgive me for that Christine? It's alright if you won't... I already feel guilty enough as I am.

Christine: That wasn't you doing all of that though, it was Evolt. You were just an unfortunate victim. Of course I forgive you, you could never do something like that on your own.

(And with that Jack and Christine share a tender hug)

Connor: So wait... You said you remember everything right?

Jack: Well, almost everything. Why's that?

Connor: Do you remember transforming and all that kind of stuff?

Jack: Yeah, I remember that.

Connor: You wouldn't possibly have the transteam gun on you, do you?

Jack: I remember giving that to Sebastian, and I guess since I'm me again he'll work with me instead. Now that Evolt is on his own he won't need to possess anyone, at least that's what I think.

(It's not long before Sebastian walks over to the group, and everyone looks at him)

Sebastian: Jack?

Jack: Yeah, it's me. I know, I wasn't myself back there...

Sebastian: I realized as soon as I saw you get forced out of that transformation. I couldn't believe it, that you had been put under the control of Evolt.

Jack: I don't think any of us could have taken that well.

Sebastian: Well, I'm not a big fan of working with aliens like him, so is it alright if I join you guys?

Connor: You can go right on ahead and join us. We'll need all the firepower we can get to fight against him.

Sebastian: You can count on me.

(Sebastian and Jack shake hands)

Sebastian: And with that said, I think you might want to use this.

(Sebastian hands over the transteam gun, the bat fullbottle and the steam blade)

Sebastian: Even when you weren't possessed by Evolt you were a powerful fighter.

Samantha: Wait you knew him Jack?

Jack: I saved him by beating up a group of thugs that were trying to mess with him. We've been pretty good friends ever since.

Sebastian: My loyalty to him will never falter. Now why don't you give that a spin?

Jack: Alright, since Evolt is no longer using it.

Bat!

(Jack doesn't spin the gun around like he did before, but he does cross his shooting arm over)

Jack: Jouketsu.

(With a sweeping motion, Jack fires and the steam envelops him)

Bat! Bat-Ba-Bat! Fire!

Night Rogue: This is pretty cool, especially after not having used this in so long.

(Night Rogue untransforms and pockets the two items, ready for use)

Jack: I'll continue helping you guys out in any way I can.

(Christine then looks to Jack)

Jack: Hm? Wanna take turns with this thing?

Christine: I couldn't possibly. I was only a good fighter because you put me under your control. I wasn't even planning on using the build driver that Davis gave to me.

Davis: I ended up taking it back anyway because you know.

Jack: Yeah.

Connor: Looks like team build is another man stronger. Evolt won't be able to do much now, will he?

Jack: Hopefully not. Even then I could have stolen his evol driver and used it for myself.

Connor: Wait what do you mean?

Jack: He made a spare one in case his first one got destroyed, but I have no idea where that one is.

Connor: Man that could have helped us out so much!

Jack: Yeah I know, stinks I never found it. If I did then I would have given that hornhead a run for his money.

(Everyone laughs)

Samantha: Well, what matters now is Jack is back with us.

(Samantha looks at Davis)

Davis: Alright, you got me, I'm sorry. Now can we move past that?

Samantha: Only if you promise not to doubt me again. I have VERY good judgement.

Davis: Okay. I promise not to doubt you again. Good enough for you?

Samantha: That should do it.

(And with that everyone looks inside their classroom to see that the doors are open and nobody else has arrived yet)

Jack: Well, let's make sure we're the first ones then!

(The group walks in, but then they realize that the professor isn't there. He does emerge after they take their seats, but he doesn't look the same)

Jack: Professor? You... Certainly have an interesting sense of style.

Professor: (Evolt's voice) I just really want to say thank you for helping me out. I can't appreciate it enough.
