"Hey!"
You stopped reading your book and looked up to see the location of where that voice came from.
You looked up to see a young man with a leather jacket and red tinted glasses.
"Hi?" you replied confusingly. Why was this random guy here?
"My name's Scott, I was wondering if I could hang out with you. You seem pretty nice," Scott introduced.
"Um, why don't you just hang out with people like them?" You asked, pointing to a group of mutants chatting on a bench nearby.
Scott looked over then stated, "They're still scared of me, well everyone is pretty much."
"Yeah believe me I get it, I'm not a popular person myself," you said and gestured a spot next to you for him to sit. He smiled and sat down under the tree next to you.
You held your hand to shake. "My names Y/N, it's nice to meet you Scott." Scott smiled and shook it.
