When Carol recieved your distress signal, she knew that you were in need of desperate help.

She was informed by some heros, The Avengers they called themselves, that a mad titan had snap half of life on Earth.
With some searching, Carol was able to discover that you were amoung the people gone.
As a display of people ran across the screen, your picture showed up. Carol looked numbly at it.
She vowed that she'd get you back, one way or another.
