Bucky came to the decision that he wanted to go into cryosleep, until the Wakandan scientists can figure out a way to get H.Y.D.R.A's programming out of his mind.
It was a tough choice, but the right one.
"I can't trust my own mind N/N, I have to do this," he told you.
"I'll be here when you get out of it," you told him nervously.
"I'll be okay, I'm with you to the end of the line. Don't you forget that." So after a few more exchanges, you gave him a hug and a kiss.
After he was frozen, and everyone had left the room, you leaned your head against the chamber.
