"You knew they were gonna do that to her/him?" Steve asked Tony angrily.
Tony had taken Steve in a private room to talk about the accords. And to cool him off after you were taken away.
"I knew they wanted to contain them, I had no idea what lengths they would go to. It was out of my hands," Tony explained. He also didn't like Ross' actions.
"Contain them? More like imprison them," Steve argued.
"Look, if you sign the accords Y/N is set free, with some terms. They won't be confined to a cage. If you want to help them, signing does that," Tony advised.
Steve looked away conflicted. Signing wouldn't guarantee your freedom. Knowing the government, they will pull strings to keep you how you are. But at the same time, signing might benefit you now.
Steve knew that you trusted him with your life. And that you would support him no matter what.
"I'm sorry Tony I can't sign, Y/N wouldn't either," Steve said before stroming out of the room in the hopes of finding where you are being kept.
