"I'm going to bed," you announced going up the stairs.
First you come home to a giant bunny outside, then you walk in to see one of Tony's suit which you thought was him. Then it turns out he was in his lab the whole time. You were disappointed to say the least.
"Hey hold on, N/N," Tony pleaded. "Okay your right, it's my fault. I'm a smoaking hot mess."
That made you stopped and head back down towards him.
"Nothing has been the same since New York. You experience things and then they're over and you still can't explain 'em. Gods, aliens, other dimensions. I...I'm just a man in a can. The only reason I haven't cracked up is probably because you moved in. Which is great. I love you, I'm lucky. But, honey, I can't sleep. You go to bed, I come down here. I do what I know, I tinker," Tony stated sadly.
You knew he hadn't been the same since New York. That whole battle really took a tole on him.
"But threat is imminent, and I have to protect the one thing that I can't live without. That's you," he continued.
You walked up to him and gave him a much needed hug.
