"Peggy let the man go," you told your girlfriend who was holding a man aganist a wall.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She questioned.
"I'm here to make sure my girlfriend doesn't do something she'll regret," you answered.
"I won't regret teaching this fool a lesson. He insulted you, I personally think he needs to be taught some manners," Peggy said angrily staring at the unconscious man.
"Love, it's not worth it. He's not worth you teaching him a lesson. Now come on, let's try and salvage the rest of our date night," you pleaded.
"Fine," she said dropping the man.
"I appreciate you standing up for me, but you know damn well I'm capable of it myself," you said putting an arm around her.
"I know, but no one messes with you and gets away with it," she said giving you a peck on the cheek.
