"My friends, Y/N, I miss them " Peter stated sadly.
"That's the mortal in you Peter," Ego told him.
"Yes," Peter mumbled still in trance.
"But we are beyond such things, we are superior," Ego convinced him. Before he could continue, Peter brought up your name again.
"Ohh please, they are nothing to you. You Peter are extraordinary. Still, they were so nice, beautiful too. It's a shame they wouldn't let you go. So I did what I had to so, and it wasn't easy. Part of me felt remorse when I sliced their throat open," Ego said oblivious to Peter's reaction.
"What?" Peter said getting out if the trance.
He didn't wait for Ego to finish speaking, he immediately started shooting him.
