YOUR POV

As we ran through the woods, the creatures lit up as we passed. It would've been really beautiful if I wasn't worried about my life. Jake started to take notice in the plants and when we walked by them he slapped them and watched them light up. "Jake" I hissed.

He got my hint and started to pick up the pace. As we ran across a couple of trees, some rope tangled around me and Jake's ankles. Jake lost his balance and fell off of the tree while I was able to keep my balance and stay upright. "Men." I thought out loud earning a small chuckle from the Na'vi. The Na'vi and I jumped down from the tree to see direhorses surrounding Jake.  He pulled his knife out of it's holster and started to run the other way. As soon as he turned though, Na'vi men with bows aimed at him, threatening him not to move.  Somehow I had gotten into the middle of this and the men aimed their arrows at me too, my back pressed up against Jake's. I could feel him chuckling and elbowed him in the back. Just as we were going to be shot, the Na'vi woman got in the middle with us.

"Calm people, calm. What are you doing Tsu'tey?"

Tsu'tey. I presume from what she was saying is that he was the head warrior, and by the looks of his dressing was one day going to be the leader of whatever tribe they were from. That guy's an asshole.

"These demons are forbidden here. " he scolded.

"Who are you calling a demon?" I whispered under my breath. He must've heard me because he sent a glare in my direction, but he turned his attention back to the Na'vi woman.

"There has been a sign." she reproached, "This is a matter for the Tsahik."

Tsu' tey looked back and forth between Jake, the Na'vi woman, and me before saying, "Bring them."

~~~~~~
The tree in front of me was bigger than any tree I had ever seen before. It was at least twice as tall as the trees surrounding it. I would've marveled, again, if it weren't for the bow being pressed to my back. We continued the pace and were dragged into the tree. There were Na'vi people all in the tree. So this is where they live. The people chattered and whooped as Jake and I were forced to walk. Now everyone who was minding their business had their attention on us. The soldiers who were guiding us had slowed down to a walk, so I finally got to take in the breathtaking view. The soldier held me by me queue as I walked through the growing mass of Na'vi people. a couple of them reached out and touched Jake and I, but we paid no attention to it. The soldiers stopped us with a halt in front of a guy donned with a bunch of feathers.
"Ok. This is the leader. Do not say anything stupid!" I whisper-yelled at Jake who nodded. The Na'vi man turned around and scowled at us.
"Father.... I see you." the Na'vi woman from earlier said to the leader. He moved forward and immediately took us all in. Jake gave him a lopsided smile and a small nod, while I just stood there with a neutral expression. "These creatures... why do you bring them here." The male said.
"I was going to kill them, but there was a sign from Eywa.
"I have said no dreamwalker will come here. Their alien smells fill my nose."
"What's he saying?" Jake asked but before I could reply, the Na'vi woman said, "My father is deciding whether to kill you."
"Your father. It's nice to meet you sir." Jake tried, but I just facepalmed.
"I told you not to say anything idiotic!" I hissed at him so coldly that if this guy doesn't kill him, I will.
"SILENCE!" the leader called. Huh he does know English, but nevertheless, we shut up. A woman Na'vi came down the tree now. "Step back!" she called "I will look at these aliens."
"That is mother. She is Tsahik. The one who interprets the will of Eywa." the Na'vi woman said.
The elder woman, the mother, walked around Jake and I. She lifted my braid and curled Jake's tail around her wrist.
"What are you called." the Tsahik questioned.
"I'm Jake. Jake Sully. This is (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." Jake answered for the two of us. She looked at Jake and whipped out a needle from a holder around and swiftly poked Jake. Then she licked the needle, tasting Jake's blood. She moved over to me and repeated the action. "After a moment of thinking she said, "Why did you come to us."
"I-we came to learn." Jake answered.
"Do not bring me into this Jacob." I never use his full name, so I take it he got the hint.
"We have tried to teach other sky people, but it's hard to fill a cup which is already full." she explained.
"His cup is empty. Trust me." I remarked with an eyeroll. If Jake does anything else then my eyes are gonna fall out from rolling them too much. "It's true. Ask (Y/N) or Dr. Augustine. I'm no scientist." Jake finished for me.
"What are you?"
"I was a Marine. A.. uh.. warrior of the Jarhead clan."
Jake I swear to God I will kill you.
"A warrior! I could kill him easily!" That ass Tsu'tey (I think) piped in. The chief held him back as the clan started whooping.
"This is the first warrior dreamwalker we have seen. We need to learn more about him. The female. Keep her. She seems naive and she is keeping the warrior from getting himself killed." the chief announced to the group.
"My daughter, Tsu'tey you will teach them our way..." both her and Tsu'tey gasped and grunted at the request. "to speak and walk as we do."
"Why us?"
"That's not fair?" the young Na'vis complained. The Tsahik just put her hand up and shushed the two. "It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways Jakesully, Tsu'tey you (Y/N) (Y/L/N). Learn well Jakesully then we will see if your insanity can be cured. As for you (Y/N) you will be here to learn, but mostly to keep him from harm. It seems as though you know more than he does."
Jake and I gave her subtle nods to acknowledge that we got her message, both too scared to speak.
~~~~~~

We climbed up the middle of the tree. The Na'vi had given us some clothes, but Jake's was riding up and he tried to pull it down. Not in front of people Jake. You literally could've done that while we were still in the changing rooms. As soon as we reached the outside all of the Na'vi people stopped their chattering and looked at us. "G-good evening." Jake said will a little wave. I just grunted and pushed him a little to keep him moving. The Na'vi girl from earlier guided us to where we were supposed to sit and making our trip over to the spot, take stepped on a tail or two and it took all of my might not to slap my forehead.  As we sat Jake looked over at the guy nes to him. "Hey, how you doin'." Meanwhile Tsu'tey was glaring at us the entire time.

~~~~~~
As we dispersed from the gathering Jake went with the young Na'vi woman. "Follow." a voice called beside me, Tsu'tey's voice.
"Okay." I said as he poured across the tree into a net/cocoon thing. He motioned for me to hop into the one next to him, and I did. Holy crap, today has been cool! As my avatar body went to sleep I woke up in my human body.
