Chapter Twenty-Nine

[SCORPIO]

I crossed my arms at sumandal sa kinauupuan ko, sa harap ko ay isang malaking monitor kung saan nakikita ko ang mga galaw ng mga tauhan ni Jared.

"Para tayong nasa sinehan." Lancaster commented behind me.

Sa harap ko ay nandoon si Zaim at ang dalawa pang trackers na miyembro ng army niya.

"Dumating na ang medic team." Zaim informed.

"Ang mga baril?" I asked.

"Na-distribute na sa bawat tauhan." Zaim answered.

"Good, how about the civilians?" Tanong ko ulit habang tinitignan isa-isa ang mga monitor doon.

"My army will handle that." Zaim answered simply and I nodded.

"Everything is okay? we can start the party." I said and I took a sip from my iced tea.

Nakita ko namang tumango si Zaim sa kasama niya and she started to speak through her mic at ganoon din ang kasama niya.

"Any encouraging words before they start?" Zaim asked.

Kinuha ko naman ang headset na inabot niya at isinuot iyon.

"Blood Moon, this is your Supreme Leader. Scorpio Middleton." I introduced. "Today, we will end the rebellion of Hiro Asumi. I hope that no one will be hurt and come back one piece to your family."

Tumingin naman ako sa monitor and I saw them, standing and waiting for my command.

"This battle is not only for me or for the whole organization, it is also for my wife and your former Supreme Leader, Jared." I said at saka hinubad ang headset at tumango kay Zaim. Zaim muttered in her mic at halos sabay-sabay namang nawala ang mga tao na nasa monitor.

They are on their way to that headquarters para tugisin na si Hiro at matapos na ang lahat.

At para payapang makapag-luksa na ako kay Jared.

I let out a shaky sigh habang pinapanood ang mga kotse na papunta sa headquarters.

"Matatapos na kaya to?" I asked.

"Woah there." Zaim said and turned his chair to face me. "Are you doubting your own plan?" He asked.

"I do." I said quitely.

"Trust them okay? they know what they are doing." Zaim said at saka humarap ulit sa mga monitor and start to type on the keyboard.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko nang may mahagip akong kakaiba sa isa sa mga footage doon.

"Is that a drone?" I asked while looking at it.

"Where?" Zaim asked and looked at the other screen. "O-oh that? wala yan, bagong surveillance technic ko." Pagdadahilan nito.

Napakunot naman ako ng noo when he stuttered while explaining, usually kapag pinapakita niya ang invention niya para siyang nanay na ini-introduce ang anak na may honor.

"Are you hinding something from me?" I asked.

"Ha? ako? wala ha." He said.

"Just make sure of it Zaim." I said at tumingin sa monitor. "Ang pinaka-ayokong makalaban ay ang kaibigan." I added.

"Don't worry, I wont."

Mga ilang oras lang ay nakarating na din ang mga tauhan namin sa bawat headquarters.
