Chapter Thirty-Two

[SCORPIO]

Habang nagu-usap kami ni Jane the music slowed down at may mga couples na nagpuntahan sa dancefloor at sumayaw ng slowdance.

"Want to dance?" She asked and I chuckled.

"Ako dapat ang nagtatanong niyan." I said at saka ininom ang in-order ko na alak. "Can I have this dance my lady?" I asked and offered my hand.

She giggled and took it at pumunta naman kami sa dance floor and we started to dance slowly.

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair

"I am not expecting to meet a person like you this night." She said, tumingin naman ako sa kanya.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"A person like you, you are really down to earth and simple." She explained and I smiled because of that.

"Thank you." I muttered.

And then she asks me, Do I look all right?
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight

Habang sumasayaw kami ay nahagip ng mata ko si Spade na pinapanood kami, he signed his hand at kita ko naman ang saya sa mukha nito nang makita ako na may kasayaw.

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me

"You are beautiful, I can see through your mask." I said while looking directly in her eyes.

And that eyes is so familiar to me. Hindi ko lang alam kung saan ko siya nakita.

"H-hindi naman..." Nahihiyang sagot nito sa akin.

"You are, trust me." I said and winked at her and she giggled because of that.

And then she asks me, Do you feel all right?
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"

I turn her and bend her down at mukhang nagulat naman siya sa ginawa ko.

Also me, nagulat din ako sa ginawa ko.

"That was-"

"A little extra, I know." I answered and she chuckled.

I feel wonderful because I see

Bigla namang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko nang ihilig niya ang ulo niya sa dibdib ko. What the fuck Scorpio!?

"You are nervous, why?" She asked at tumingin sa akin.

"I-I don't know." I said.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight

I turn her again and she giggled nang humarap na ito ulit sa akin.

Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight.

"Let's have a seat, my feet is killing me." She said.

Inalalayan ko naman siya and we went to a booth there, she let out a sigh of relief nang nakaupo na siya sa sofa doon.

Umupo naman ako sa katapat na sofa niya and a waiter put down a red wine for us.

"Want some wine?" I offered at binuksan ito.

"Oh no, actually kailangan ko ng umalis." She said at bahagyang kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"What? nagsisimula pa lang ang party." I said.

"My job here is done." She simply said habang inaalis ang heels nito. "Which is to donate a money." She added at saka tumayo.

"Ganun na lang iiwan mo na lang ako?" I asked.

At gusto kong sampalin ang sarili ko nang sabihin ko iyon, what the fuck Scorpio? what are you a clingy whore!?

"I'm so sorry sweetheart." She said and tapped my cheek. "But I need to go, I believed na magkikita pa tayo ulit."

Tumayo naman ako at hinawakan ang wrist niya, normally ako mismo ang nagpapaalis sa mga babae hindi ko alam kung bakit ngayon pinipigilan ko siya.

"Don't go." I muttered.

"Scorpio--"

Her words cut off when I kissed her lips and pulled her waist closer to me. She moaned when I deepens the kiss.

I don't care if other people will see us, I don't care what will they say.

There is something inside me that wants to be with this girl tonight.

Something is pulling me to her.

She gasped when we broke the kiss, I looked at her eyed and reached her mask pero bago ko pa maialis iyon ay hinawakan niya ang kamay ko.

"Why?" I asked.

And I don't know why I fucking did that.

Napangiti naman ako nang makitang patakbong lumabas si Scorpio para sundan si Jared.

Oh dear, can't wait to roast Scorpio what happened this night.

"Is that Scorpio?" Amy asked behind me, tumingin naman ako sa kanya and I grabbed her waist towards me.

"Yup, running after her Cinderella." I said at tinignan ang wristwatch ko. Saktong alas-dose na ng madaling araw kasi.

"Cute." She commented and yawned cutely.

"Tired? let's go home." I said.

"Wait, paano sila Jared at Gemma?" She asked.

"Jared is occupied right now and I can't see Gemma. Alam naman nila na kailangan natin umuwi kaagad dahil dito." I said at hinawakan ang tiyan niya.

May bump na ito pero hindi pa ganoon kalaki.

And I am fucking excited to see my baby.

"Oh okay, besides kailangan mo pang i-kwento sa akin ang nangyari." She said and hold my arm habang palabas kami ng venue.

Napahinto naman ako sa paglalakad when I saw Scorpio's car drove into the other side of the road.

Mukhang may mangyayari talaga ngayong gabi.

I chuckled at dahil doon ay nakatanggap ako ng hampas mula kay Amy.

"Aray miloves! ano ba yon?" I asked.

"Tinatanong kita hindi ka sumasagot." She said and I let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry okay? nakita ko lang yung kotse ni Scorpio na umalis." I said at bahagyang napakunot naman ang noo niya.

"And so?" Pagtataray nito.

"Sa ibang daan kasi siya dumaan hindi papunta sa subdivision." I explained.

"Bahala ka nga diyan, umuwi na tayo." She said and I let out a tired sigh.
