~ You Can Trust Me ~

It was Saturday evening and I just came back inside for a job around the neighborhood.  My head has been wrapped around so much lately, that I figured a nice jog to blow off some tension would be good.

I went upstairs to take a much-needed shower and once I finished my shower, I noticed that I received a text from Wyatt.

W: I'm in the neighborhood and I was seeing if you wanted to come run a few errands with me?

D: Of course, anything to spend time with you.

I replied smiling down at my phone.

W: I will see you in a few, beautiful.

I ran to my room rummaging through my drawers of clothes trying to find an outfit to throw on.

I decided on a pair of denim shorts and a graphic t-shirt. I tucked the shirt into my shorts deciding that this outfit will have to do on such short notice.

I combed my brush through my hair deciding to let it flow over my shoulders since I didn't have much time to do anything else.

I put some moisturizer on my face and finished with some chapstick.

The second I placed my chapstick down, Wyatt texted me that he was outside my apartment.

I walked downstairs to grab my stuff and head out the door.

Once I made it outside, I found Wyatt with his back leaning against the familiar black sports car that he drove the other night.

I crossed the street making my way towards him.  He smiled when he saw me approaching and he straightened himself out once I stood in front of him.

"Hello, beautiful," he said stepping closer to me.

"Hi, handsome," I smiled as he placed his hands on my cheeks generating the familiar burn.

He leaned down bringing his face closer to mine as he joined his lips to mine in a kiss full of passion.

I kissed him back with the same emotions relishing the feeling of his lips on mine.

He pulled back and I sighed at the loss of contact.  Wyatt planted a kiss on my forehead before he walked me to the other side of the car to help me in.

Once he got in the car, he started the engine and pulled off onto the road.

"Where are you dragging me off to?" I questioned placing my hand on top of his as it rested on the gear shift needing to feel some kind of close contact.

"I have a few things that I need to do and I figured you might want to come with me," he said lifting my hand to kiss the back of it and then returning it to its previous position.

I figured questioning him further was pointless because he most likely wouldn't tell me where we were going.

He stopped the vehicle in front of a store with the sign on top reading Legends.

We got out of the car and we made our way towards the entrance. I stepped inside the building and noticed that he brought me to a barbershop.

"You brought me with you to get your haircut?" I asked amused as we stepped further into the shop.

"Maybe but I also wanted to introduce you to somebody," he replied.

"Look what the cat dragged in," a guy said as he walked out from the back.

He looked close to Wyatt's age and he had tattoos as well expect he didn't have nearly as many tattoos as Wyatt.

"Hey man, I'll take my business elsewhere," Wyatt laughed while he and the guy shared a one-arm hug patting each other on the back.
