~ She's the One ~

Wyatt's POV

All the emotions I was feeling collided into one. I felt an intense rage building inside of me that fueled my hatred for Ivano even more, I felt uneasy because I didn't know where they had taken her and most of all, I felt devastated because I could only imagine how terrified she was right now.

"Check the bodies to see if anyone has a pulse," I said to Cole once I got up off my knees.

I watched as Cole didn't say anything but nodded his head and made his way over to the scattered bodies on the floor.

I sat on the edge of the bed and looked down at my hands resting in my lap as they uncontrollably started to shake. I didn't know how to control myself because deep down I didn't know what I was going to do.

To hell with Ivano's request for the impossible trade deal. He took the most precious thing in my life and I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction by helping with the deal, especially since I didn't know if Davina was alive or not.

No, I shouldn't be thinking like that... she was alive and I was going to find her.

"He still has a pulse but it's weak," Cole said to me and I turned to see him standing over Reed's body.

"Help me get him on the bed," Cole instructed as he moved to stand next to Reed.

I stood from the bed and made my way over to Cole. We lifted Reed's lifeless body off the ground and laid him on the bed. The white of his shirt was caked with blood and the bullet wound to his torso bleed out onto the sheets.

"Call Doctor Griffin and tell him to get over here," I said to Cole.

Cole pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed the number. Once Doctor Griffin answered, Cole quickly told him the situation and hung up the phone.

"He will be here shortly," Cole said placing the phone back into his pocket.

"Good. I'm hoping Reed can tell us who came to do Ivano's dirty work and maybe he heard where they took her," I replied.

"I'm guessing we won't be doing the trade deal?"

"Ivano fucked himself over with that. I gave him my word with the trade deal and I'll be damned if he's going to use Davina for leverage. Ivano isn't one who keeps his promises anyway," I said making my way to the bathroom to wash off the blood coating my hands.

"We're going to get her back," Cole said to me as I exited the bathroom.

"I know we are and I will kill anybody who gets in the way," I sternly replied.

"I should have never agreed to let her come," I continued hanging my head to look down at the floor.

"You can't blame yourself. She begged you to come and who's to say Ivano wouldn't have sent his men after her if she stayed back in Chicago?" Cole replied.

"You're probably right. Ivano knows how important Davina is to me and I should have known that he would pull something like this."

"Right now we need to worry about getting the bodies out of here and letting Doctor Griffin take care of Reed. I know you're worried about Davina but I promise you, I will help you find her. You know I would go through hell and back with you," Cole said placing his hand on my shoulder.
