~ I Love You with Everything in Me~
I was getting dressed for my dinner date tonight with Wyatt. I washed my hair earlier so I let my hair dry naturally. Wyatt always tells me he likes it when I don't wear makeup, so I decided to pass on applying any kind of makeup. Lastly, I put on a casual off the shoulder short white dress with a pair of sandals.
I finished getting dressed in the bathroom mirror and I walked back out to the bedroom seeing Wyatt buttoning up his dress shirt.
I smiled leaning against the door frame as I watched Wyatt continue getting dressed in the mirror without noticing that I was looking at him.
After a few seconds, our eyes met in the mirror and Wyatt smiled at me turning around to look at me.
I made my way towards Wyatt as he held his hand out for me to take. I placed my hand in his and he pulled me closer towards him.
"You're looking extremely handsome tonight," I said smiling as I placed my free hand against his face.
"And you're looking beautiful as always," he replied leaning down to kiss my lips gently.
Wyatt pulled away from the kiss and led me out of the room towards the front of the house until we were standing outside the beach house.
"I wanted tonight to be special for the two of us," he said standing in front of me while holding my hands.
"So I had special arrangements made for us for dinner," he smiled nodding his head in the direction of the walkway to the beach.
Wyatt was holding my right hand in his while my left hand was wrapped around his forearm as we walked down the path to the beach.
Once we made it to the beach, I was blown away by the sight in front of me. There were red rose petals spread out on the sand making a path towards a small white tent that was placed in the center of the isolated beach with candles lighting up the area.
I looked up to Wyatt in awe and he was already looking down at me while smiling.
"Wyatt, this is beautiful," I said feeling overwhelmed by the delightful sight in front of me.
Wyatt leads me down the path towards the tent and as we approached, I noticed there was a table and chairs in the center of the tent with candles and roses decorating the top of the table.
Wyatt pulled out my chair for me to sit and I watched as he made his way to the other side of the table to take his seat.
The way the candles danced adding light around us due to the darkness mixed with the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore made the situation feel like a dream.
I couldn't help the smile that was plastered on my face as I continued to take in the scene around me. Wyatt did all of this for me and I will never understand how I was fortunate enough to end up with somebody as affectionate and thoughtful as Wyatt.
I noticed Wyatt's eyes shifted to the left of me and I turned my head to see what caught his attention. I noticed two servers walking up with trays and an ice bucket filled with wine in their hands.
"Good evening, to the lovely couple," one of the women said with a rather eccentric accent.
The other server with her smiled as she placed two covered up plates in front of us as well as a wine glass that she proceeded to fill with scarlet-colored wine.
The server removed the lids covering the food that revealed a seasoned lobster tail resting on a bed of creamy pasta that smelled delicious.
We thanked the servers and watched them walk back down the way they came disappearing out of view.
