~ Reclaiming ~

Wyatt's POV

My heart was fiercely pounding against my ribcage as I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror.  Today was the day we decided to attempt and reclaim Davina from under Ivano's nose.

Reed had told Cole and I that before he passed out the night Ivano's men took Davina, he said he faintly remembers them saying to take her back to the basement of his warehouse.  Reed said he doesn't remember much because soon after, he passed out from the amount of blood he lost.

Two days ago, the other men arrived in Italy, and Cole and I spent the remanding days going over the plan to make sure it was flawless and would be executed appropriately.  I prayed that whatever happened today, Davina would at least make it out safely and alive.  She didn't deserve to be caught in the crossfire of my mistakes and I should have known that her involvement in my life wasn't good for her. Instead, I selfishly fell in love with her and couldn't get myself to force her out of my life and I truthfully was terrified that she would leave me once she was back in Chicago.

As I finished getting ready, I heard a knock at the hotel door.  I made my way into the room and opened the door to find Cole and Maddox standing on the other side.  I stepped to the side and allowed them to enter the room while I finished getting ready.

"I don't know why but I'm extremely pumped for today.  I've been waiting for this moment to get back at Ivano for so long," Maddox said clapping his hands and rubbing them together.

I turned back and intently stared at Maddox while he still had a hard grin plastered across his face.

"Cole has told me that you're one of the best and for that I am grateful, but you will not compromise the plan we have devised and risk putting all our lives in danger," I said grabbing the dress shirt hanging up and tugging it over my shoulders.

"I understand the severity of the situation and I know that my job is to get her out."

"Out and alive," I sternly said as I finished up the last few buttons on my shirt.

"Maddox, as well as the rest of the men, are going to safely get her out.  We just have to make sure that we stall Ivano long enough and make it seem believable that we are only there to follow through with his proposition," Cole said shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Ivano knows how much Davina means to me and he was eager to accept our proposal about meeting today.  If we keep our cool, I have no doubt that Ivano won't fall for our scheme.  Especially since he's so money hungry he won't jeopardize his chances of gaining even more power," I replied.

Cole and Maddox both nodded their heads in agreement, and I just prayed that luck was in our favor today.

"The other men are waiting in the room with Reed whenever you're ready," Cole said turning to start heading for the door.

"I'll be there in five," I said making my way back into the bathroom.

I finished the last few details and headed to the hotel room a few doors down.  The door was cracked open and I walked in to find the room filled with loud voices and laughter.

All the guys were sitting around the room while talking amongst themselves and picking on Reed for being shot by Ivano's men.

I cleared my throat as I stood in the middle of the room and the laughter died down seconds later.

"I just want to thank all of you for agreeing to come here and help me.  I may not show it but I'm truly grateful for each and every one of you," I said slightly smiling at the group in front of me.
