~ You Are Not Damaged ~
I woke up to the bright morning sun shining on my face through the vast glass window of the bedroom.
I fluttered my eyes a few times trying to get accustomed to the harsh light that beamed in.
I noticed the bed felt rather empty and I rolled over to see Wyatt no longer occupied the space next to me.
I smiled to myself when I remembered the events that occurred last night and that Wyatt whispered that he was in love with me.
I debated if I should tell him about overhearing his comment since I wasn't quite asleep yet, but I didn't want to bring it up and have him tell me that he only said it because he was caught up in the moment.
I heard the water running from the bathroom in the room and I assumed Wyatt was taking a shower.
I laid in bed for a few more minutes enjoying the comfort of the morning sun and the silky sheets against my skin, when I heard the shower turn off.
A few minutes later, the bathroom door opened and Wyatt appeared walking past the bed towards the dark wooden dresser that sat against the wall.
My back was turned to him so he didn't notice that I had been awake when he entered the room.
I moved to lay on my back to better see Wyatt when I took the time to glance over the tattoos that concealed the tan skin of his back.
I wondered why Wyatt had so many tattoos and what each tattoo meant to him. Wyatt's tattoos began from his neck and went all the way down to his feet.
I never thought tattoos were appealing but Wyatt made the tattooed appearance look completely captivating on him.
He had a pair of boxers and shorts in his hand when he closed the dresser and turned around instantly making eye contact with me.
"Good morning, beautiful," he smiled as he noticed I was awake and already looking at him.
"Good morning," I replied, blushing as I noticed how good he looked with the towel hanging loosely around his hips with nothing else covering his flawless body.
Wyatt removed the towel that was around his waist and I dared to not look down when I noticed he was now completely naked in front of me once again.
He put on the pieces of clothing that he was holding and made his way towards me on the bed.
Wyatt laid on the bed and reached out to take hold of my body to move me closer to him.
I happily moved closer to Wyatt loving the scent of his freshly washed body that smelled fresh and clean.
I laid my head back on Wyatt's chest and I casually traced my finger across his body outlining one of the many tattoos on his chest.
"Wyatt, what do your tattoos mean?" I asked looking up at him.
"We would be here all day if I told you what every tattoo meant," he replied glancing down to me.
I sat up in the bed holding myself up with my elbow so I could better look at his face.
"Good thing we have all day," I shrugged intrigued to know why he was covered in the dark ink.
Wyatt sighed and moved my body to straddle his lap so I could get a better view of the tattoos covering his chest.
I placed my hands on his sides as I peered down at him waiting for him to explain.
"The lotus flower on my neck," he spoke moving his head back so I could better see the colorful tattoo.
