~ Whatever It Takes~
Emilio informed Wyatt that he had a week to prepare for the match. Ever since, Wyatt has been at the boxing gym nonstop in preparation for the fight. I hated the idea of Wyatt agreeing to the match but if this is what it takes for him to earn his freedom, I guess he had to do what needed to be done.
I haven't seen much of Wyatt since he's been so busy preparing so I decided to head over to the gym today. Before I went to the gym, I stopped by the sandwich pub and got the boys a sandwich for lunch. Cole regularly complains that he's hungry so I know he will appreciate the kind gesture.
Once I made it to the gym, I parked my car near the entrance and grabbed the food to head inside. When I entered the gym, I noticed Cole sitting on the top of the table while watching Wyatt and another gentleman practice in the ring.
"Hey," I said greeting Cole once I made it to the table.
"Hey you, what are you doing here?" He asked turning his attention towards me.
"I haven't seen Wyatt in a few days so I thought I would stop by and drop off some food," I said holding the paper bag up that was in my hand.
"How did you know I wanted food?"
"Oh just a wild guess," I laughed placing the paper bag on the table.
I turned my attention towards Wyatt as Cole thanked me before anxiously digging into the bag.
"Come on Miller, focus," the man in the ring said to Wyatt as he slapped him on the back of the head with one of the focus pads.
Wyatt shook his head like he trying to rid his mind of any distractions and continued striking the pads with such a powerful force.
After a few seconds, Wyatt turned his head to the side and finally noticed that I was standing a few feet away from the ring.
"I'm taking a break," Wyatt said stepping back as he proceeded to walk towards me.
"You have five minutes," the man in the ring said pulling the pads off his hands.
Wyatt smiled as he stood in front of me and rested his arms on the top ropes.
"Hello beautiful," he said as he took a sip from his water bottle.
"Hey handsome, training hard I see," I replied noticing the sweat that glistened on his body. I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth as I took in the alluring view in front of me.
"You know it," he smirked.
"I brought you a sandwich if you're hungry," I said pointing behind me with my thumb.
"Thank you but I'm not hungry," he replied.
He could probably tell how concerned I looked by the expression on my face when he said he wasn't hungry. I figured he probably had to cut back and eat right so his body was properly fueled for the match. I nodded my head and loosely crossed my arms over my chest.
"I promise I'll eat once I'm done," he said making me feel a little better.
"Damn, I was hoping you weren't going to want your sandwich," Cole said crumbling the wrapper from his now devoured sandwich.
Wyatt laughed and shook his head as he looked down at the ground.
"I'll let you get back, don't work yourself too hard," I said to him.
"I'll see you when I'm finished," he said walking back and blowing me a kiss.
I smiled and acted like I caught his kiss and placed it on my cheek. He laughed at my cheeky gestured and winked before turning back around.
