Not really a religious person but today she bent her knees and bowed her head . When last had she prayed ? a while ago , a few years back . But this night she felt as if she needed to show her gratitude . She forgot how to start a prayer but as soon as she started her prayer , the words spewed out and she laid her heart before her creator .
She spoke with honesty , she displayed her gratitude with sincerity . She wondered if the big guy up above could hear her but she continued regardless . And as she spoke for what seemed like hours , she laid her head down to rest , feeling resolve in her heart . And each night it continued like this until she knew he was listening , giving her strength each day to continue loving somebody that was incapable of loving her back .
