She knew that he wouldn't love her back , but still she hopelessly thought that she would be the light at the end of his tunnel . He ceased to show emotion , even when she has worn her heart on her sleeves . What hasn't she done ? What more could she do ? And at times like this when he seemed so cold , she felt defeated and was close to giving up . At times like this , she wanted to walk away before she broke down .
He stopped speaking to her . He was back to ignoring her , as if she hadn't existed at all . And even with the shattered heart and torn soul , she sat dry-eyed and watched him from a distance . She sat while he trampled all over the beating heart that she gave him to hold .
