(Your POV):
As I activated my suit, ready to go into battle, Spidercide frowned at my enthusiasm, causing me to worry for a moment. What if he wasn't buying my act? Did he realize that he hadn't won me over?

"You're ready to fight the person that you've been dating on just the word of another man?" He asked as he took a step closer to my cell.

I sighed, "listen, Spidercide- Peter. If what you have told me is true, then I've been dating a lie. I need to know the truth, I need answers. I know that you probably want to kill him for what he's done, but could we just restrain him? I need to know why he lied to me, I need that before I can make the decision whether or not to be with you."

"But you already are with me, an imposter of me, but it's essentially the same thing. (Y/N), I will have all that is mine and that includes you."

"I don't belong to anyone, Peter, you're going to have to learn that quickly if we are to pursue a relationship. It must be one based on equality, although I will have to owe you one if you help me conceal myself from my parents."

A smirk broke out across the fake Peter's face, "I like the sound of you being indebted to me."

I watched Spidercide carefully as he walked over to the control console of the cell I was in, wondering if he was buying my act. My breath hitched in my throat as he brought his hand down on a button and the cell door slid open. I walked out hesitantly wondering if this was a test, but took a deep breath in as I fell into my charade.

I walked up to him and he slipped his arm around my waist, "you know, you're going to have to remove that mask if you're planning on kissing me."

"Kissing you? I wasn't aware that I was planning on doing such a thing," I teased as I cupped his face in my hand.

Before Spidercide had a chance to respond, a web attached to his wrist, pinning it down to a nearby desk. He growled angrily as he looked up to find Spider-Man standing a few feet away, but he quickly regained his composure, "how nice of you to join us, we were actually just about to go track you down. Oh yes, Void is mine now, everything that you thought was yours is mine. Just accept that and give up."

"Never," Peter asserted through clenched teeth, seeming shocked by how similar Spidercide looked to himself and refusing to look me in the eye- well, mask. "I will defeat you and you will stop trying to take over my life."

"Can't you see it's my life that you're living? You're just pretending that it belongs to you, I am Peter Parker."

"No you're not! You're a living lie, everything I hate! And I won't let you get away with it any longer!" Peter argued, sending another web at Spidercide's chest.

Spidercide ripped his arm free from the webs restraining him and managed to dodge Peter's new attack, but I didn't let him recover from his victory. I pulled him into a chokehold, sending waves of electricity threw his body. Angrily, he threw me off of him and I landed near Peter.

"You know for a moment there I was worried that you had betrayed me," Peter confessed as he shot webs at our common enemy.

"I don't break my promises, unlike you. I thought you were going to bring backup?"

"I did," Peter replied just as the Avengers burst into the room, guns blazing. Panic began to settle in, knowing that the Avengers would win this fight. I couldn't risk Spidercide telling them anything about me, he knew far too much.

In the commotion, I was able to slip into the next room over, into what appeared to be an office space. My number one priority became finding any mention of me in his files. I could silence the man easily, but I couldn't destroy evidence once the Avengers had seen it.

Without even bothering to filter out any documents that didn't mention me, I took every paper on his desk, shoved them into my suit, which was incredibly uncomfortable, and erased all of his hard drives. After double checking that none of the data could be recovered, I returned to the fight, where the Avengers were pinning down Spidercide.

Not willing to risk him slipping up and informing the Avengers of my identity, which was a likely thing for him to do after he realized that I had played him, I telekinetically sent a dagger straight into his heart. He doubled forward, collapsing to the ground as the Avengers all turned to me.

"He was too dangerous to be kept alive," I stated, watching as he choked on the blood filling his lungs until his body finally stopped twitching. Afraid that the Avengers would turn on me, either for killing someone who would have been a great source of information for them or simply because I was a threat to them, I quickly slipped out of the room before anyone could say another word.

I heard shouts of "come back!" and "catch her!" but I ignored them as I slipped out of a window at the end of the hall and grappled up to the roof. I knew that they had become accustomed to me using the streets as my escape, but they weren't going to suspect that I would be going up. After chucking the locator device that Peter had given me off of the roof, I found the door that lead from the roof to the lower levels of the building and climbed down a flight, knowing my chances of escape would be better if I hid out there rather than trying to outrun them. Some of them could fly, for God's sake. There was no way of successful evasion unless I hid, and the building I had just fled would be the last place they would look.

I found a storage closet down the hall that I figured would provide me with cover to wait until the Avengers had cleared the area, settling down on the dirty floor. Deciding to be productive while I hid, I removed Spidercide's files from my suit and began to sort through them.

The information that he had managed to gather was insane. He had photos, details about Peter's life that even I hadn't known, it was a relief that he had decided to go rogue and not report back to my parents. The sheer volume of information that he had on us scared me and I knew that I needed to start being much more careful.

I was overwhelmed by what Spidercide had known and I needed to get out of the closet, but I couldn't be positive that I could leave yet without being caught. I couldn't risk that, especially with the files that I was carrying, but I didn't know any other way to make sure that Avengers were no longer in the area.

Suddenly an idea came to me and I pulled out my phone to text Peter, Have you wrapped up yet for the night? I can't stay over again without my parents getting suspicious, but you did seem to want to see me tonight and I certainly couldn't disappoint
