as soon as I open my eyes and hear the birds chirping I know I'm screwed 

I sit up quickly, throwing the warm blankets off my legs and onto the floor 'oh no no no no no no no' 

I rush over to my empty bag on the floor and pick it up, throwing it on my bed, I flick the lights on as I run across the hallway to the bathroom, I take a quick shower and brush my teeth, as I leave the bathroom I grab my essentials and run back to my room 

I try to pat my hair dry as I pull clothes out of my drawers, I throw an extra outfit in my bag and pull on some black pants, a long sleeve netting shirt and a burgundy crop top and finally some sandals

I throw my hair into a messy bun, pull down some strands to frame my face and put my headband on 

I shove a package of food pills in my bag and some extra kunai and shuriken

'How long will I have to go without caffeine?

okay....that might be everything , wait!' 

I run over to another drawer and pull out some bandages in case my medical jutsu isn't enough'

I sling my bag over my shoulders and grab Kibas jacket I'll give it back when we meet up to leave'

running through the kitchen I see a cup on the counter, sitting next to it is a note that says 'goodluck'

I gulp down the luke-warm coffee and slam in down on the table as I run out the door towards the front gate

I land on the ground right behind Norio 

"There you are" shouts Ronin his emerald eyes flickered with annoyance "Do you know how late you are? All the other teams left already, we were just about to leave to drag you out here"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I forgot to pack yesterday and had to take a shower and I-" letting out a sigh and holding up hands in defeat, I added "and I slept in" 

Norio laughed but Ronin just rolled his eyes he has been a little on edge lately, his dad is really pressuring him to get Chunin'

"well better late then never right?" I add "I am sorry and I will try to do better but for now lets go"

Ronin turns to start but Norio nudges his arm "who's jacket in that?" he smiles and points to the jacket in my arms

"oh its, its Kibas he uhh walked me home yesterday and I kinda forgot a coat soooo he let me borrow his" I sigh, looking around " I meant to give it back to him but looks like I missed him"

"yea by like 5 minutes" laughed Norio 

Ronin smiled, the tension leaving his face "Come on guys lets go" he took off and Norio followed 

I slipped on Kibas jacket so I didn't drop it since I had no room in my bag the warm, husky smell engulfed me 

I really like this smell'

We arrived at the building the exams were being held in, we turned in our paperwork and registration forms and walked down the halls and through the doors

"I'm a little nervous" and my voice squeaks at the end, showing it

"It's gonna be ok guys, we got this" Ronin says, throwing a wink in our direction and pushing open the doors

when we went through most of the people closer to the door halted their conversations and looked at us 

They had worn and scary looking faces, their stares made me feel uncomfortable and I was thankful for Kibas black jacket to hide under

In front of me Ronin stood taller so I followed after his example 

This is going to be pretty scary but at least I have Ronin and Norio with me' 

letting a breath out I step forward so I stand shoulder to shoulder with Ronin and Norio 

"THERE YOU GUYS ARE" 

*cue sweatdrop from team 3* 

Thank god for Naruto'

I smile at Team 7 as they approach us 

"Well look who the cat dragged in" Ino says coolly as she and her team approach us 

"yea well someone woke up late" Norio responded, jabbing his thumb towards me 

I roll my eyes and smiled "I was tired" I whined, making them all laugh 

we stand like that making small talk for a few more minutes before I leave to go find the bathroom 

Just as I was washing my hands Hinata walks in

"Hey Hinata"

"oh Hi Sayuri" she replies 

"Kiba said you were learning a new Jutsu, good luck out there"

"t-thank you" she leaves to one of the stalls 

Hinata is pretty sweet but she is also pretty shy'

Just as I enter the hallway I collide into something hard, 

Arms pull me back and I look up into the face of-, 

ITS KIBA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT DO I DOOOO'

he smiles at me and I try not to notice how hot my cheeks feel right now 

"Is that my jacket?" he asks 

my hand grabs onto the bottom hem of the jacket "umm yea yea it is I meant to give it back yesterday but I forgot and then I wanted to give it back this morning but I was too late to meet your team at the gates cause I forgot to pack but umm here I'll-" my arm starts shrugging the coat off 

His hands stops it on my shoulder "Stop!" his face is red and he clears his throat "I mean I have another one see" his hands go to a similar one that he is wearing "besides, you look pretty cute in it" he says winking 

Is he flirting with me? does he like me? I shake my head trying to hide the blush that must have turned my whole face red

"I-" I start

"SAyuri get over here" Norio yells at me from the other end of the hallway 

"I-I have to go Il'l see you later!" I scurry off and I can feel his eyes watching me as I retreat

"what was that?" Norio teases, raising his eyebrows questionely 

"umm that was  nothing" I stutter curse you Kiba why are you so hot ahhh boys are so confusing 

I give my face a quick fan to hopefully bring my blush down 

"awwww does Sayuri have a crush" he teases, poking my shoulder 

I smack his arm "Just shut up" I grumble 

"ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS" a man with a megaphone speaks "PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR TEAMS AND ENTER THE TESTING ROOMS"
