Since both our teams had both our scrolls we decided to start heading to the outpost together but we spaced out the departure time between us 

My sandals hit against the thick branches as we jump through the trees almost skidding into Ronin when he holds up his hand for us to halt 

Norio stops so quickly he leans over me, I crouch down enough so that he can rest an arm against the tree and straighten himself 

rolling my eyes I shift across the branch and crouch next to Ronin, looking in the same direction 

A group of younger ninja, older then us by a few years, are standing next to a tree and bickering, loudly.

"do you guys wanna take this team on?" Ronin asks softly 

"sure" I say, drawing a paper bomb kunai out of my pouch "lets try not to need my shields this time"

Norio nods "they have two scrolls, one on the girl and the other on the blond with the red vest" he readies his shuriken "looks like they are arguing cause one of them wants to hide out for the next few days and the other one wants to head on and start getting scrolls from the other teams, the girl is just hungry" he chuckles at the end 

Ronin nods and we jump out of our hiding place, Norio runs along the tree line to my left and Ronin to the right

I push into my jump till I launch myself off the branch and into the air above the bickering team.

Launching the paper bomb kunai between them they all fly in different directions 

flipping, I tackle the girl, she throws me off her and pulls out a Kunai before charging towards me. I pull out some shuriken and launch them at her as she flips upward to dodge them I jump higher and do a half spin as I slam my leg into her abdomen, sending her back into the ground, hard. I ready to punch, flying down towards her but she rolls and my fist slams into the ground causing rocks and sand to launch themselves up around me.

I whip my head around looking for her, a hand reaches out of the ground and starts to pull my leg under

she has control of the ground

I form a small chakra shield underneath my other foot and use it to pull my leg out quickly, it surprised her because she flies out of the ground with the force of my pull, just inches from me I quickly channel chakra through my fist and punch her hard in the gut, sending her flying into a large tree across the clearing 

I jump over to her and pull the scroll out of her belt 

I almost feel bad taking this from them, but the less people that make it to the finals the better

"Sayuri" Norio speaks up behind me, he twirls another scroll in his hand and winks 

The girl's other team members are recovering themselves in the center of the clearing 

Ronin wipes his kunai on his pants and flips back his platinum hair "lets go" 

nodding I jump off after them

Judging from the position of the sun it's around 3 in the afternoon, we only have a few hours left before the sun sets and we are more vulnerable to attacks 

"we are only a few miles out from the compound " Ronin calls out "we can take a short break now because from here out we have to be extremely vigilant"

we all drop and sit under a tree, we drink some water and I pass around some food pellets 

I re-check my weapon pouches before we continue, restocking where needed, and Ronin and Norio disguise the scrolls we took from the other team
