Anko leads us to a large gated forest and we stand in front of the gate 

"Listen up" she shouts, putting her hands on her hips "This is the forest of death. Each team will be given either a heaven or earth scroll, your teams objective is to collect one of each scroll and meet in the inner compound in 5 days time"

needing one of each scroll will mean we have to get a scroll from another team Looking toward Ronin and Norio they nod 

Norio runs a hand through his brown hair and readjusts his headband 

they start passing out some consent forms and I quickly fill mine out 

"alright guys show me your bags, lets see how prepared we are for this" I say dropping my bag in the middle of us 

Ronin drops his nag next to mine and sits down across from it, holding his consent form 

"You get yours filled out yet" he asks, I nod and open his bag. 

Inside he has a package of food pills, an extra shirt, some Kunai and Shuriken and a book?

Im pulling out the book to see which one it was before Ronin hands slam down on top of mine pushing it back into the bag, I look at him curiously Whats he hiding?' 

he coughs, into his hand, his face turning red "its uh its nothing" but he hurriedly throws everything back into his bag and slings it over his shoulder 

shaking my head I open Norios bag inside are some extra Kunai and Shuriken but also some matches and thin rope and a bag of chips I will definantly be breaking into those later'

I shove his stuff back into his nag and hand it to him 

He laughs "man, you don't pack well one time and Mom decides to go through your bags before you enter the forest of death" 

"oh shut up Norio you once packed a cup of Ramen for a 4 day trip and I had to share my food with you the whole trip" I answer also trying to hold back a laugh for him calling me 'mom'

"Ok guys time to talk strategy I'm sure things will be wild out there once we start so what I vote is that once we get out there we run, we don't run into any other teams and we don't get involved, we just hide and scout out a team to take a scroll from" Ronin says standing up 

we nod and after a minute of thinking I speak up "I actually have an idea"

they both nod waiting to hear me out "so once we get out there we need to get another scroll and once we get that scroll that means that that team is out unless they can get two scrolls" I pause taking a breath "My plan is to start picking off the teams one at a time" I pause looking at their faces Norio seems a little confused but Ronin is nodding like he gets the idea "that way" I continue "the less teams we have to compete against later, and even though it might seem risky we might want to start by picking off the stronger teams that way we only have to face off the weaker ones in combat" they both nod 

"It'll be risky" Ronin starts "but even if we target just one or two it will still pay off in the end especially if we hide our scrolls well and be careful about which ones we target" 

He nods towards me "that was a good idea" 

I smile, standing up straight again "thanks" 

Ino walks towards us and leans her arm against my shoulder  

"Hey" I say 

"Hi you nervous about this forest of death thing" she asks 

yes really nervous' i think "nah that forest hasn't met me yet" I answer laughing nice hide'
