"she's not my daughter."

"what do you mean?" you asked, resting a hand lightly on his cheek, smiling reassuringly, "she is, she looks just like you."

"no... that's just.... her mind tricking you and herself." he looked at you with his astonishing eyes, his expression serious.

"but... then who's daughter is she?" you asked, shifting on the side to get comfortable. with a small sigh, he moved and sat next to you on the side, he looked uncomfortable but you weren't too sure.

"let me tell you a story... about another girl called Kozana." he looked at you, taking your hand.

"Kozana Shigaraki? All for One's daughter?" you spoke quietly and he nodded.

"yes, that Kozana." he sighed again before looking off towards the wall, "when Kozana Shigaraki was little, only 5 years old, her mother died. Kozana supposedly followed after her mom... but Kozana didn't die."

you stayed quiet before turning to him, already knowing what was coming.

"i was asked by All for One and Kozana's mom to raise her as my own... she changed what she looked like due to something in her mind that made her think she was related to me that way. i was told to call her Yuii and to protect her, only to tell her the truth when i felt we were all ready." he looked at the wall again.

"so... Yuii is really Kozana? " you looked at the wall as well and edged closer, trying to give him some warmth to change his cold expression. there was nothing. no change. he looked at you then looked away, a chill entering the room, draping over you. the silence was suffocating, "Well?"

"Yes. she is."

"so you're saying that Yuii is really Kozana." you said again, wanting to confirm his statement.

"yes i am." he sighed and let your hand go, "don't say anything to her, Y/N, i'll tell her when i'm ready... which will be soon."

"okay..." you stroked his hair. he turned to you and pulled you close, kissing you lightly on the lips. you kissed him back and smiled slightly when he pulled away and rested his head on yours, "Damn it, why do you always know how to get me to say things?"

"because... that's what i'm good at..." you smiled again and wrapped your arms around his neck, casting your thoughts to the first time you ever heard of Kozana.

"All for One's daughter, that goes by the name Kozana Shigaraki, age only a couple of months has been given to Aizawa by her mom with the hopes of protecting her from the league to give her the chance to be a hero." the news reporter said in a very formal tone. your mom was sat down watching the news with you, on the phone with someone. she was muttering something about Kozana to the person on the phone. she then proceeded to turn the news off and hang up on the person, looking at you with a smile.

and then the day after that, Kozana was reported missing. to think that she's been here all the time. to think that Shigaraki has told you of all people.

and you've nearly forgot that you wanted to escape.
