"Are you two dating?", Mr. Kim started after the long and intense silence.

"Dad can we talk about this at home?", Jisoo averted the question.

"No. Answer me now. I have been waiting for you to come home and talk about this but you didn't.", Mr. Kim sternly answered.

Mr. and Mrs. Kim, Lisa and Jisoo are seated at the receiving area of Jisoo's office where the usual glass table and the couch is located. Jisoo and Lisa are seated side by side but with a reasonable distance and Jisoo's parents are across them, intently looking at them.

Jisoo instructed Ms. Chick not to allow anyone to enter.

"Dad, what the articles say about---about me and Lisa dating is --- is not true. The pictures are r--real but they don't mean anything. You -- you know how we are, including Jen and Chae.", Jisoo answered stuttering, that even her wasn't convinced of what she said.

Lisa could only gulp and stay silent. She wanted so much to come near Jisoo but she prevented herself from doing so. For their own sake.

After what Jisoo said, her parents remained silent and were only eyeing them sternly, with a hint of disappointment.

"Then how would you explain these?",Mr. Kim again asked, as he laid a brown envelop in the glass table and tossed it towards Jisoo and Lisa.

Without much hesitation, Lisa picked it up and slowly opened it, pulling out its contents. When Lisa finally saw what's inside, she can only utter a silent curse and grit her teeth. The younger girl looked at Jisoo, edging her through her eyes to look at the pictures. And so Jisoo moved closer to Lisa. And just like the latter's reaction, Jisoo could only curse.

Inside the envelop were pictures. Stolen shots of her and Lisa. But unlike those published in the article, the pictures in the possession of her father were incriminating.

There are photos of them inside the car where Lisa pulls Jisoo back inside the car and kissing her knuckles for long time and Jisoo clearly smiles at that. There's also their picture in Thailand where they were having their dinner at Lisa's restaurant and Jisoo was leaning so close to Lisa's face, seemingly both were talking about something that both of them were flirtily smiling, and another picture of them on the same ocassion where they were alone in the table and Lisa was holding Jisoo's hand while kissing her palm and Jisoo leans to Lisa's shoulder. And the last picture was when they walked Dalgomie to the park and they were tightly hugging each other, and Lisa kissing Jisoo's forehead.

"Do you still intend to lie to me, Kim Jisoo, Lisa!?", came the thundering voice of Mr. Kim. Even Mrs. Kim was startled and slightly held her husband's arm to restrain him even just a little.

"Wh--where d-did you get these, Appa?", Jisoo asked, head down still looking incredously at the photos.

"Well apparently someone from the media has taken interest to you both and had been following you around since you girls got together for the concert! I asked you thru your mother to come home. I was going to talk to you about these photos because days ago a photographer came to me and showed me these! They negotiated with me and told me that they intend to publish these photos, or I could buy them out to keep them out of the public! I bought those pictures so they won't go public. But you never came! And now these articles came out! I guess those bastards kept other photos they have of you for publicity stint! And I guess I no longer need to ask you both again, don't I??!!"

Silence.

At this point, Jisoo and Lisa knows that there is no point in denying it. This is it, the moment they both feared.

"I-I'm sorry Dad, I lied. And y-yes, Lisa and I are in a relationship.", Jisoo starts to tremble as she confesses. And since it's now out, Lisa inched closer to Jisoo to support her.
