Mapi's POV:
"And what did you say?"
"I said I got this."
"And what happened?"
I looked up. "I don't got this." I mumbled.
"Say it louder?" Alexia crossed her arms.
"I DON'T GOT THIS!" I yelled.
Gabriel laughed from the couch. "Told you!"
"Quiet you. You said one day."
"Yeah. How long did it take you to call Alexia?" He turned to me.
"A day and a half." I mumbled.
"Say it louder?"
"A DAY AND A HALF!" I yelled. "You little shit." I whispered.
Alexia smirked. "Oh Mapi. What would you do without me?"
"Her? What would WE do without you?" Gabriel said.
"No one asked you, little Mendes." I pointed at him. He turned and faced the TV again.
Jenni stood up. "I still don't know how you managed to break the sink." She looked at me.
"I still don't know how you managed to fix the sink." Alexia said.
Jenni smiled and held up her phone. "YouTube!" She laughed. "How about that."
"Your wife."
"My wife can manage on her own." She walked to the stove. "Were you gonna cook?"
"Yes."
"What were you going to cook?"
"My specialty." I leaned against the counter.
Gabriel walked in. "Dear nephew." Jenni kneeled down. "What is Mapi's specialty?"
"Sandwiches." He said.
"Mapi!" Alexia looked at me. "You were going to feed your kids sandwiches?"
"No! Don't be ridiculous." I shook my head. "I was going to feed him 2 sandwiches." Alexia covered her face. "Here's what's gonna happen. Jenni, Maxi and I are staying for dinner."
"Yay!" Gabriel cheered.
"I'm going to cook." Alexia said. "And Mapi, you are going to watch. Ok? You're a full-time parent. It's amazing you survived on your own."
"I had Leila next door." I said.
"It's amazing both of you survived." She sighed. "Jenni, do what you do best."
"Come on children!" She marched off with 3 kids closely behind.
"Can I go play too?" I asked.
"Sit your ass down. Cooking lesson 1." I sat down. "Broke the sink. Give me a damn break."
Mariana's POV:
"Mari." Virginia looked at me. "Your phone is ringing."
"Pass it." I said. She tossed me the phone. "Alexia?" I answered it. "Hey, Alexia. What's going on?" I put it on speaker and put my phone down.
"Your wife is a dumbass."
"I know but be more specific." I said. Lola laughed.
"I'm with her right now. She called me."
"I've been gone for a day and a half." I said. "Wait let me guess." I smirked. "She broke the sink."
"How the hell did you know?"
"It's Mapi. You have to think outside the box."
"Yes. She broke the sink. Jenni fixed it."
"How the hell did Jenni fix it?"
"YouTube." Lola nodded.
"Lola's right." Alexia said. Lola did finger guns at my phone. "Stop that." Alexia said.
"I didn't do anything!" Lola said.
"Yes, you did."
"Yes, I did." Lola pouted.
"Back to Mariana's dumbass." Alexia said. "She was going to feed the kids, sandwiches."
"It's her specialty." I sighed.
"I cooked, showed her how to do it. Gabriel is finishing his homework, Mapi is giving Felicia a bath and Jenni is getting Maxi ready to go home."
"Thanks, Ale."
"Of course. Godmother at your service."
I said bye and she hung up. I turned to my teammates. "Your wife is a whole ass mess." Virginia said.
"Hey." Nahikari hit her.
"It's true!"
"I know it is but I'm sure Mariana already knows."
I nodded. "I love her though."
Virginia laughed. "Like you." She looked at Nahikari. "I'm a mess but you love it."
"Lucky you." Nahikari left the room.
"So?" I looked at her. "Did you do it?"
She looked down. "No."
"What! Why?"
"I got nervous!" She sighed. "We're in such a good place right now. What if that ruins it?"
"Pull yourself together woman!" Lola yelled. "You are Virginia Torrecilla! Nothing scares you!"
"It's not being scared." I said. "You and I both know what this it." I looked at Lola. She smirked. "Our little Vir is in love!" I jumped on her. "You don't want to lose her cause you love her."
"No shit I love her." She pushed me. "And what if I ask her and she realizes she can do better than me? That American girl she dated? Back before we started our thing."
"I still don't know that story." I looked at Lola.
"None of us do. Give it a few weeks." She crossed her arms.
"Vir, she isn't going to think that. She loves you too. Do you know how many hours I had to listen to her talk about you? Ask her. Please."
"When I asked Carmen, I was terrified. And we were together for so long." Lola laughed. "I thought the same way. We've been together for years. Why ruin it? But then I said I want EVERYONE to know. I want this step with her. And I asked her and she said yes."
"But look at Mariana and Mapi." She said. "Mapi's fucked up way more since you two got married."
"But look at Alexia and Jenni. Leila and Mariona. Lola and Carmen. Vir, look at so many marriages. People have their ups and downs, but you love that person no matter what. Marriage is different for everyone. Yeah, Mapi's fucked up so much more. But we also fell more in love. You were so excited when you got that ring. Don't back out now."
Virginia looked at us. "Ok." She nodded. "Ok, I'll ask her."
"That's our girl." Lola smiled.
"They grow up so fast." I laughed.
