March 2028

Mariana's POV:

"Thanks, Mari." Carmen smiled.

"Don't mention it." I rubbed her back. "How's it going?"

"I swear one day is perfect and the next day it's,"

"Like the kids out to get you?" She nodded. I laughed. "Yeah, I get that." We sat on the couch. "Where's Lola?"

"Ran to the store. I may or may not have eaten all the ice cream last night." She smirked.

"And Lola went to get more?" 

She nodded. "She saw we had no more and then said she'd go get some. And get other stuff too."

"Aw. She loves you."

"I know she does." She laughed. "Speaking of love. How's Mapi?"

"A pain in my ass." I shook my head. 

"You haven't worked this out yet?" 

"It's Mapi. She wants to be right so bad that she'd rather keep fighting than give up."

"And what do you want?"

"To sleep." I closed my eyes. "She's being extra petty about it. Every time Felicia cries, she won't get up because she's my daughter. I have to do what I want because she doesn't want to make me mad. What's making me mad is that I haven't slept at all!"

"Calm down." She put her hand on my shoulder. "I know a certain godmother who would love to take a few shifts in the taking care of a baby department." She smiled.

"Alexia?"

"Ok, so I know two godmothers." I laughed. "I know you're the parent here, but you have a whole army behind you. Like you keep telling me. Take your own advice for once, Mariana. You always tell us you have our backs. Let us have yours ok?" 

I smiled. "Ok. You're gonna be a badass mom you know that right?"

"I'm learning from you. How could I not be?" 

Mapi's POV:

I looked at Felicia in her crib. "Hey, baby girl." I picked her up. "Let's feed you." The door opened. Mariana walked in. "I was just gonna feed her. Unless you want to do it the right way."

"Shut the fuck up." She said and walked by me. 

I rolled my eyes and fed my daughter. Mariana walked out of the bedroom and stood in front of me. "What?"

"Vir is on her way over."

"Why?"

"To watch Felicia. You and I need to sort this shit out. I'm tired of all of this."

"You're tired of it but you started it."

"It doesn't matter who started it, Mapi! It needs to end! We have a baby!" 

"You have a baby." I stood up. "Remember? She's your daughter."

She sighed. "You are such a pain in my ass sometimes." She turned her back to me.

"Maybe that's why we're together. We're both pains in the ass."

"I'm a pain in the ass?" I nodded. "Wow. Ok. Well then let's end this right now. Pack up your shit and get the fuck out."

"It's my house."

"You're going to kick me and the baby out? Fine then. Don't expect to see her." She walked into the baby room and started packing stuff. 

I sat and finished feeding the baby. There was a knock on the door. When I answered it, Virginia walked in. "Give me." She said taking Felicia from me. "Godmother here to save the day. Where's Mari?"

"Packing."

"Where's she going?" I shrugged. "Mapi what the fuck did you do!" She walked to find her. 

Mariana's POV:

I finished getting Felicia's things together and was working on my stuff. "What is happening?" Vir walked in. 

"Oh, Mapi didn't tell you? I'm taking the baby and leaving." 

"Why are you leaving? She should leave."

I scoffed. "As Mapi said. It's her house."

"She's kicking you and a BABY out?" I nodded. "Take your child I'm fighting her." 

"Vir." I shook my head. "She wants to be an asshole about this, let her. I'm tired."

"You're staying with me then." She said. "Nahikari is with Real Sociedad, I have space."

"Vir."

"Mari." She said. "I'm not asking. I'm telling you. You are staying with me. Now take your adorable child while I start putting stuff in the car."

"Don't say anything to Mapi on the way out." I sighed as I took my daughter. 

"I won't." Vir said taking a few bags. She walked out of the room and I waited. "FUCK YOU SHIT HEAD!" She yelled and I heard the door slam. 

I shook my head. I finished getting my things and walked to the living room. Mapi was standing there. "I can't believe you're being like this." I said. She looked down. "You were so excited to have a baby. To start a family. What happened?" 

She put her hands in her pockets and looked up at me. "Let me get the door." She walked over and opened it. 

I shook my head. "Fine. Be like that then." I left.

Mapi's POV:

I shut the door and stood there. I walked over to the window and looked outside. Virginia was getting Felicia in the car. 

Her car. 

Mariana looked up at the window before getting in. 

I stood there and watched them drive away.
