Mariana's POV:
I woke up and saw Lola standing over me. "Hi?"
"Wake up bitch it's your wedding day!" Virginia jumped on me.
"Oh, I regret asking you to be my maid of honor." I tried to get her off me. "Lola help."
"Hmmm." She thought about it. "Since you let Alexia record me drunk," I rolled my eyes. "No."
"I didn't LET her. I was too busy keeping this asshole from falling on her face!"
"True. Lola, she was protecting this." Virginia smiled.
"And I'm sure Nahikari is very thankful. However I was getting dragged down the street!"
"By Jenni!"
"How is that any better?"
"Carmen had your feet."
"Uhh no. Don't drag me into this." Carmen walked over with Natalia.
"Nat. Help please."
"Vir. Don't crush the girl on her wedding day!"
"This is a Spain conversation, Italy!"
"Then Mariana isn't included."
"Oh shit right." Virginia got off me. "I forgot you're not Spanish."
"After today she'll be a little Spanish!" Lola danced.
"And Mapi will be a little Portuguese." Virginia made a disgusted face. I stared at her then pushed her off the bed.
"Come on! Come on!" Lola dragged me out of bed. "We have to get you ready."
Mapi's POV:
"I'm getting married today." I looked at my mom.
"You are." She smiled.
"Thank you for coming. You and dad."
"It's your wedding. We wouldn't miss it." I smiled and looked in the mirror. "Nervous?"
"No. I've waited a long time for this day." I took a deep breath. "When I met her, finally met her. I knew that I wanted to spend forever with her. Thankfully she felt the same." I turned to my mom. "I know it's not a traditional wedding but,"
"It's your wedding. This is what you two wanted. No one else's opinions matter."
I nodded.
"Almost ready?" Leila walked in. She had a huge smile on her face.
"I've been ready since 2020." She laughed. "How do I look?"
"Amazing. Mariana is going to love it because it's you."
I was just wearing a white shirt and white pants. Neither of us wanted to get all dressed up for a short ceremony. So we dressed the way we wanted. For a ceremony we wanted.
"How is she?"
"I just talked to Virginia. She's very excited."
Mariana's POV:
"I think I might pass out." I sat down.
"No." Virginia kneeled in front of me. "Look at me! I just told Leila that everything is ok! I'm not going to lie to her... today!"
I nodded. "I just. Being the center of attention for long periods of time kind of makes me panic a little. That's why whenever I have to make a speech I awkwardly laugh."
She sighed and looked down. "You're not going to be alone, Mariana. You'll be with Mapi. And I will be right by your side, the whole time. Ok? If you start to panic just look at me. I'll be right there, Leila will be too."
"We all will." Lola grabbed my hand.
I nodded and looked down. "I um. My brother usually helped me through panic attacks and everything. I always thought that whenever I got married, I'd have him with me to talk me down. I wish he was here, but I'm happy I have you guys." I looked at everyone. "My family."
"Come on." Virginia put her hand out and smiled. "You have to go become Mrs. Neck Tattoo."
I laughed and stood up. "How do I look?"
She smiled and put her hands together. "Beautiful. Honestly." She turned to my mom. "How do you feel mama?"
My mom wiped a tear away. "Like my baby girl is getting married."
I walked over to her. "Don't cry. If you keep crying I'll start crying."
"Then get ready to cry." She walked away.
Everyone laughed. "You ready?" I asked Gabriel. Nearing 4 years old, he was a very animated young boy.
"Yep! Let's go!"
Lola fixed his little tie and grabbed his hand. "You're walking with me. Ok?"
"Ok." He looked at me. "Where's Mapi?"
"We're going to see her now."
"Leila too?"
"Leila too." I laughed.
"Ok." He nodded. "We can go now."
He left with Lola and everyone left, leaving me and Virginia.
"Your dad is waiting." She smiled. "And remember, I'm right by your side. If you panic, just reach for my hand. I got you."
I hugged her. "Thank you. Not just for today, but for every day."
"That's what friends are for."
"You're not my friend, Vir." I smiled. "We've been over this, you're family."
She nodded.
"Mari." Natalia opened the door. "It's time."
Mapi's POV:
Everyone sat and waited. They stood as I walked with my parents.
Lola walked over with Gabriel and stood to the side.
Virginia walked over and stood to my left. "Well?"
"She is beautiful, Mapi." She squeezed my hand. "Too beautiful for you."
"Be nice." Nahikari whispered.
"That's the nicest way to say it."
Mariana and her parents walked out and she stood in front of me. "We're getting married."
"Yeah we are. High five."
She high fived me and Alexia shook her head. "These idiots just high fived at their wedding."
"Awesome." Jenni smiled. Alexia glared at her. "Idiots." Jenni shook her head and looked down.
No one's POV:
The ceremony was short and sweet. As they wanted. Gabriel was tasked with the rings.
He walked up to Mapi. "Mapi I'm hungry."
She kneeled down and smiled. "Me too. We're gonna eat soon."
He sighed. "Ok." He gave her the rings and then went to his grandparents.
The rings were placed on each other's fingers and finally, they were married.
Mariana's POV:
I looked at the ring finger. I saw Mapi staring at her's. "You don't have to wear it. A lot of people don't wear their wedding rings."
She looked at me with a big dorky grin. "I'm never taking this off."
THEY ARE MARRIED!!! The next chapter depends on what happens in the next update for The Dutch Girl so you might want to stay on top of that. As for Jenni and Alexia? They're chilling.
