Mariana's POV:
"Atleti vs Barca." Carmen smiled. "I love it."
"And we're going to win." Virginia smiled. "Because we have the best striker ever."
"Thanks babe." Nahikari smiled.
"I was talking about Mari." She smirked.
"You're sleeping on the couch." Nahikari walked away.
"It's like you enjoy pissing her off." I said.
"I wanted to talk to you privately."
"And "hey Mariana can I talk to you?" wouldn't have worked?" Virginia laughed. "What's up?"
"We got the paperwork sorted. 2 weeks."
"You're getting married in 2 weeks?" She nodded. "This is so exciting!" I jumped on her.
"Get a room!" Lola walked by.
"Get over here!" Virginia yelled. She grabbed Lola's arm and pulled her back. "The 3 of us have had some great times together."
"Remember when you elbowed me in the eye?" I smiled. "Fun times."
"Moving on." Virginia said. "I'm getting married in 2 weeks." She said. "Mariana, you'll be by my side, right?"
"Always." I smiled.
"Lola, I have a big job for you too."
"Tell me and it's done."
"Can you help plan the party after? When we're done at the courthouse?"
"You want me to plan the party?"
"HELP plan the party." She looked at me. "I should've asked Carmen."
"Relax, Vir. You can trust me. It's your big day. Whatever you need me to do, it's done."
Mapi's POV:
"Home for Christmas." I hugged Gabriel.
"Well, Portugal is technically my home, but this is where my family is." He smiled.
"I didn't ask for the real stuff ok. My dude is home, let me have this win."
We got home and we went to his room. "Want to go pick up Felicia and Luca from Jenni's?"
"Why are they at Jenni's?"
"She's here until after Christmas. Alexia's coming this weekend because Atleti is playing against Barca. Then Jenni is going to Barcelona after the Christmas break. It works for them, I don't know."
"Ok." He smiled. "I missed Jenni."
We got back in the car and drove to Jenni's.
I knocked on the door and waited. "Mapi, I told you I'll drop them off lat- GABRIEL!" She picked him up.
She carried him inside and I shut the door behind me.
"I missed you." He hugged her.
"I missed you too. How is everything?" She put him on the couch.
"Good! I'm a forward, like Mariana."
I put my hands on my hips. "I thought I was raising centerbacks."
"No one wants that." Jenni said.
Gabriel laughed.
"Well, one child has failed me. Two left to get it right."
