Well my friends.

We did it.

We reached the end of The World. Sequel to International. The beginning of this crazy ride with those Spanish girls.

Mariana and Mapi's story may be ending, but it will continue in Back to You and The Quiet Girl.

As well as another new story coming soon that I don't know anything about yet so don't ask.

I love writing for all of you. This storyline has been one of my favorites so far. It made me love writing again in a time where writing felt more like a job than a hobby.

If you don't know, I'm currently in film school. Studying to become a screenwriter/director. I don't get much free time from schoolwork, but any free time I do have, I spend writing for all of you. And again, I truly enjoy it.

I hope you all enjoy this update. The conclusion. I wrote it last night and decided with what's happening right now (It's election day if you're American which I'm not but I live in America) I'd post it.

Thank you for loving Mariana and Mapi as much as I do. I'll see you in The Quiet Girl and Back to You.

Thank you for all the love and support.

Words can't even cover how much I appreciate it.

Thank you.

Mariana's POV:

I landed in Lisbon and looked around.

I'm home.

I headed straight to Sporting's facility and saw the crowd waiting.

"Mariana!" Everyone screamed. The car pulled in and I got out.

"Warm welcome." The manager walked toward me.

I laughed. "Very warm."

"Welcome home, Mariana." He hugged me.

"This feels right." I patted his shoulder. "It was time."

"Let's get you settled." We walked inside and I got all my gear together. "You'll have all your tests done today for medical. Then fitness tomorrow. Lots of media over the next few days. Depending on how those tests go, we'll see where you can go in terms of the preseason." I nodded. We continued walking throughout the facility. "How are the kids?"

"Great. Growing too quickly." I laughed. "How's Gabriel doing?"

"Kids a star." He said. "I've been keeping tabs on the academy teams. Trying to help in any way. We like to keep the full squad humble and like to make sure the academy gets a look at what they're in for. If it were up to me, he'd be on the senior team now."

I laughed. "He'll be there before I know it." I sighed. "This club has been my family since the day I was born. Only fitting that he's part of it too."

I went to the press conference. I saw my jersey and smiled.

Mapi's POV:

"Thank you everyone and welcome to today's conference. In 2021, we said goodbye to our captain, Mariana. While it was a tough decision, we knew it was what was best for not only the club, but for her. In order for Mariana to be the best we knew she could be, she needed a bigger challenge. She went to America, then to Spain, spent some time in Italy, returned to Spain, played for her hometown club and after more years in Spain, we are happy to bring Mariana home."

I smiled. The camera went to her. She looked so happy.

"Mariana, what are you feeling right now. At this moment?" A reporter asked.
