REMEMBER ME

REMEMBER: Chapter 5

We all gathered in the living room.

Halos lahat ay may kaniya-kaniyang gawain. Ereel is watching on the tv, Gastin is busy with his laptop, Dash is watching with Ereel as well, while Kisher just finished dressing.

Me? I just stood there watching all of them.

Lumapit naman sa akin si Kisher habang sinsuklayan ang buhok.

We both wore jog pants and shirt. Hello? We wouldn't dare to wear shorts while there are boys here. No thanks! Mas gusto ko pang magpajamas na lang kung ganoon.

"Eto na lang ba ang gagawin natin?"

She asked. I shrugged. Ewan, magtinginan na lang siguro kami dito.

Actually, it's awkward because we don't really know each other. We are basically strangers right now. Kisher told me a while back that she just met them on the service bus while travelling all the way here.

"It's very awkward because we don't really know each other yet we are going to work and share ideas at the same time."

Pagkatapos ko iyong sabihin ay nagpakawala pa ako ng buntong-hininga. I guess we have to make a move in knowing each other so that at least it won't be awkward anymore when we're working together.

"Let me talk to Dash. So...uhmm, you should also try talking with the two? I tried on the bus but they had no budge except for Dash."

Alanganing pa siyang ngumiti sa akin. I doubt they'll talk to me. But I guess, I'll just try. Tumingin ako kay Kisher at ngumiti na rin lang ng medyo alanganin.

"Guess I have no choice. Let's try."

Lumapit si Kisher kay Dash at binubulongan siya. I heard Dash replying, you don't need to get close like that, gusto mo ba ako? The next thing I knew was that he received a smack from Kisher.

"Seriously? Eeww."

I nearly laughed at Dash' reaction when Kisher looked at him disgustedly. I shook my head on what they're doing. Ewan ko kung matatawa ba ako sa mga pinaggagawa nila o hindi.

I looked at the two boys who seemed to not care about the other two.

I tried going near Ereel and I even sat at the couch next to him. Well, great attempt but his expressionless face is making me uncomfortable.

He looked at me shortly and immediately returned his gaze into the television. He went back watching the new anime series called Dr. Stone. I guess that's how he really loves science. Hanggang sa mga pinapanood niya ay may mga kaugnayan rin sa kung anong hilig niya.

He's on my left side so I diverted my eyes on Gastin who's busy typing something on his laptop. He is also in my right side and I almost got dizzy looking at his laptop screen.

I don't know if he's creating a system or something because all I can see are codes. Dala na rin siguro ng kuryosidad, medyo lumapit ako para matingnang mabuti ang tinitipa niya.

"You're interested?"

Napahawak agad ako sa aking dibdib dahil sa gulat nang bigla siyang magsalita. I didn't expect he'd noticed me approaching. He's got fast observing eyes. That's scary.

Lumapit na lang rin ako ng tuluyan ng mapansin niya ako.

I saw Kisher and Dash went downstairs, probably to get foods to eat. Alam ko namang laging gutom ang dalawa though they can maintain their body form.

"Interested on what?"

I didn't get his question at first. I thought he was referring to himself and I was about to say kind of.
