Although I didn't know they would react like that, I became much more comfortable with them.
Nakabalik na rin pala sina Prof. Clart, Dr. Ivory and Dr. Sebastian. Professor Clart looked more troubled than his usual self.
He's currently talking with the two scientists and I heard something about reaction and absent-minded mentioned by them. Dr. Sebastian and Dr. Ivory also are seriously talking about something on the counter when we arrived at the laboratory.
Sir Mark was the first one to notice our presence.
It seems like there's another problem arising for the second time. I wonder what's new.
"Listen, students, there are two news today. One's good the other is bad. What do you want to hear first?" Tanong ni Professor Clart sa amin.
Good and bad news?
"Either of the two." I quickly said.
"Since I heard that you completed the first main formula, let's start with the good news." Dr. Ivory said. She tied her hair into a bun to prevent it from covering her vision. Napatango naman si Professor Clart.
"We already have a new breakthrough about the virus. They are confidential files that was given by the president. There are also compilation of data observations and hospital records about the patients. But of course, despite that it's confidential ay nakagawa pa rin ng paraan ang gobiyerno to acquire it."
What? For me it's partly a good and bad news. Good kase nadagdagan na naman kami ng kaalaman rito but bad because maaaring kailangan naming palitan ang drug o may idadagdag.
And hello? Confidential files? Hospital records are also too personal. Of course, the president is very influential and he has connections with the westernians kaya madali lang sa kaniya ang pagbend ng records.
Desperate call for desperate measures. Urghh!
"Bad news is that mas lumala ang virus. The government haven't closed the airports yet and as well as for the trades of imported products. Anytime soon, makakapasok na rin ang virus."
Napamaang kami sa sinabi niya. Hihintayin pa ba nilang may makakuha ng virus bago nila ilock down ang country? Prevention is better than cure.
"Bakit hindi pa daw po isinasara? If we are surrounded already then it is good to close every ports to avoid getting the virus. Kisher asked.
