"Let's get ice cream" Jisung suggested as the nine of them walked past a convenience store, the sun just peaking above the horizon.
"We just ate" Chan sighed.
"So what" Jisung countered.
"I don't understand how you can be this hungry all the time" Maddie laughed.
"I don't understand how you can never be hungry" Jisung countered, and as he said those words Maddie's stomach shifted and let out a low growl.
"I just don't need much food so I don't eat that much" Maddie insisted.
"Or at all" Hyunjin mumbled under his breath.
"I agree with Jisung, we should get ice cream" Jeongin nodded.
"I agree too" Felix nodded.
"We have ice cream at home" Chan tried to insist but it was clear he wasn't getting anywhere.
"Just let them buy ice cream, it's their money" Minho shrugged.
"You're not paying?" Jisung uttered in disbelief.
"Pay yourself" Minho scoffed.
"You are unbelievable, you won't even buy me an ice cream" Jisung grumbled as he entered the shop everyone else following after him.
They all headed to the freezer where they pulled out their ice creams "I'll get that for you if you want" Changbin smiled over at Felix. Maddie had been watching them the whole night after Felix's initial reaction to him, and it was clear there was something going on.
"Changbin's paying" Jisung announced clearly having overheard his offer to pay for Felix.
"What? No-" he tried to counter but the damage was done "fine" he mumbled, Maddie let a small smile grace her lips as she watched the chaos unfold, none of them looked short of money, all dressed in expensive designer brands so it was funny to see them argue over a few coins.
"You getting anything?" Hyunjin asked shaking Maddie out of her thought.
"Probably not" Maddie shrugged turning to face the handsome man.
"You don't like ice cream?" He assumed.
"No I love ice cream" Maddie corrected "it's probably one of my favourite foods" she mused.
"Really?" Hyunjin asked with a smile.
"I know that's quite childish" Maddie quickly backtracked.
"No I just meant 'then why aren't you getting one?'" He explained.
"Oh I'm not hungry" she shrugged with a smile.
