Hyunjin and Maddie exited the ballroom in complete indifference but as soon as they entered the hugely ornate and empty hallway they turned to face each other.

"Where to?" Maddie questioned with a cock of the head.

"I guess wherever the hall takes us" Hyunjin shrugged turning the take the path away from the ballroom, catching Maddie's hand as he did so pulling her along with him. Maddie absorbed the beautiful marble floor and decorative paintings and mirrors they passed, every inch of this place screamed wealth and success and Maddie couldn't help but admire it.

"Oi, eyes on me" Hyunjin teased bringing Maddie's attention back to the man who may as well have been carved of marble himself with how perfect his features were.

"Aw, getting jealous of a corridor" Maddie teased straight back.

"Are you kidding? Yes. This thing screams rich and it's beautiful and strong, I'm sure it has a sensible career path too" Hyunjinn joked "this corridor could take you away from me at any moment"

"You said it" Maddie shrugged with a mischievous grin.

Hyunjin gasped and clutched his heart "is this what heart break feels like?" He whined.

"As if" Maddie laughed "you know I love you you stupid boy"

Hyunjin began to fake cry as he ran away from Maddie doing a comedic jog just in front of her. Maddie began to run to catch up with him her stiletto heels being no use. Maddie collected the puddle of her skirt in one hand and grabbed Hyunjin's hand in the other.

Before they knew it the pair were racing down unknown hallways hand in hand, and in complete hysterics. "Jinnie, your going to fast" Maddie laughed as they sped down the halls, Hyunjin dragging Maddie behind him. All doubt from earlier melting away as once again they were just Hyunjin and Maddie, the lovers.

"Sorry Princess" he laughed slowing his pace slightly so they were side by side.

"Where are we going?" Maddie laughed.

"Not a fucking clue" he shrugged with a care free smile as he began leading her down a new less fancy hallway "you're the one who's buddies with the BTS members, any clue where we are?" He laughed, but Maddie could sense a hint of bitterness behind his voice.

"No clue" she laughed ignoring his tone, she took a quick run before sliding along the marble floor on her smooth soled shoes, tugging on his arm as she sailed past him.

Hyunjin did a little run before sliding along the floor with Maddie, both of them struck in pure euphoria. Maddie let out a contagious laugh as Hyunjin lost his footing nearly falling down and bringing her down with him.

The pair had finally slowed down as they stopped in a part of the mansion neither of them recognised "Stairs" Maddie stated finding a set of stairs behind a door, Maddie assumed that it was the servants stairs when the mansion was in full use.

"Let's go up" Hyunjin suggested taking her hand and pulling her up with him.

After a few steps Maddie was  struggling to keep up with him in her heels, Hyunjin immediately noticed this and took the initiative to scoop her up in a princess hold running up the stairs as if her weight wasn't even there. Maddie stared at his beautiful face as his dark bangs bounced up and down on his forehead. They reached the top of the tall stair case and it was immediately clear that they were in a practically deserted part of the mansion.
