The phone rang three times before it was picked up. A hand covered in small scars and speckled with red reached out for the vibrating phone, the ring on his middle finger glinting in the dim light.

"Miss Saito, I've been expecting your call."

"I did what you asked" a static voice came from the receiver, the sound of heavy raindrops prominent in the background.

"You will have to elaborate Miss Saito, I have asked you to do many things in the last week."

"SM and JYP are at war, each one blaming the other for the start of the shootout."

"Good to know you never miss" the man replied, a dark chuckle in his throat. "Soon, Park Jinyoung will be running to us for resources and money. Have you located the Song sisters yet?"

"Give me a break Soojin, I'm trying my best here" the female voice scoffed "There are thousands of Songs in the city, and we can't even be 100% sure that they are in Korea."

"Just tell me as soon as you hear anything, even a whisper."

"I've got a promising lead that I'm following, some girls that match the description, I'll keep you updated."

"Good" The man replied examining flecks of dried blood under his rough nails.

"Just remember Kang, I'm not playing hide and seek for free, I expect payment in my account by tomorrow or the deal is off."

"Don't worry Miss Saito you will be paid in full" the man then added "The Dragon is expected to come by the end of the year, I'd hate to think of the consequences if we don't see any results by then."

"You do your job and I'll do mine" the girl spat through gritted teeth.

"Speaking of my job, you've distracted me from the fun part, call me if you find anything new" the man replied before hanging up and tossing the phone onto the desk.

Kang Soojin stood tall as he turned around to face the sorry excuse of a man in front of him, cracking the bones in his neck as he approached him.

"I'm going to ask you one more time" he ground out flexing his fingers before pulling a knife out of his belt, old dried blood still prominent on its once silver blade. "Where are Song Hanjae's beloved daughters?"

Soojin waited five seconds before smiling down at the bruised and bloodied man "well if you're not in a talkative mood again, I suppose you won't be needing some of your less useful extremities" the man tied to the chair gulped and pushed back tears as the gruff man towering above him stoked the tip of his knife across his fingers which were bound to the chair he sat on.

And with that, Kang Soojin - the rat of Seoul brought his knife down onto the man's hand.
