Maddie woke up stretching her arms over her head, she'd gotten a good nights sleep despite Alice calling her in the middle of the night. She rolled over to her phone, and decided call Alice, she didn't bother to check her appearance or flatten her crazy wavy hair before she pressed the call button.

After a few seconds Alice's face filled the screen Makeup smudged around her eyes and her hair unusually unruly.

"Woah, no offence mate but which bus ran you over" Maddie teased at her uncharacteristic messy look.

"Don't even start me" she groaned sitting down on an unmade hotel bed.

"So how was it?" Maddie asked wanting to get straight to the juicy bits.

"Well" Alice started filling her best friend in in all the details about going to the club the creep on the dance floor and then Jay swooping in to save her, she got up to when they went to the taxi and Alice invited him over before Maddie cut in.

"WHAT?!?" She gasped a look of disbelief on her face "NO WAY DID YOU SAY THAT!!!!" She yelled "that's mental, 'you not coming?'" Maddie intimidated followed by inhumane squealing and jumping around.

"Calm down Mads" Alice laughed her screen filled with images of her friend dancing around in a pair of tiny shorts her hair sticking out at random angles.

"Ok ok" she said sitting back down on her bed "what happened next, I need all the details" she demanded.

And Alice did that, quickly losing any shyness she should have felt talking so openly about how she'd had sex with this stranger, she filled Maddie in on everything and Maddie clarified some questions she had as it was her first time.

"I can't believe my bestie lost her virginity in some steamy one night stand" Maddie gushed.

"I know it's bad isn't it" Alice said shaking her head.

"Not at all, you guys clearly had a connection and by the looks of those hickeys you both had a lot of fun" Maddie teased not wanting her friend to feel ashamed for having a good time.

"I think we did" Alice agreed feeling a bit more confident in herself before she frowned remembering the way she'd woken up "yeah but he was gone when I woke up, no note nothing, no way to ever find him again" she sighed, maybe he didn't feel the same way that she had.

"Well that's just rude, sounds like you had fun last night. If you're meant to see each other again you will" she said a look of confidence in her face.

"Don't pull that 'Jesus has a plan for you' shit on me again Maddie" Alice laughed.

"Hush hush, but genuinely Moore, if he left and you never see him again it's a fun story no real loss, but if you do see each other again who knows" she said wiggling her eyebrows at her through the phone.

Maddie heard a knock on her wall followed by Marks husky morning voice "please be quiet, some of us are trying to sleep" he complained.

"Sorry Mark!" Maddie called back.

"I better let you go then Mads" Alice laughed through the phone.
