He was out on a date. A date with an actual girl. Holy crap.

"KAYLA GET YOUR AGENT BUTT IN HERE!" Jessie screeched, strapping on Elementa's suit. "We got a date to tail."

Bruce had met up with a brunette with glasses, and had smiled, leading her out of Shield's way. Apparently, no one else knew that he might have a girlfriend. A girlfriend. An actual girl.

"Why do we have to dress up as our supers?" Kayla asked with a groan, mask in place as she grabbed Jessie's arm. "You wanna transport or fly?"

"I'll fly, get an aerial view. There should be a comms unit in your suit, report if he's being threatened. I want to see if she's amazing for him. We need to tail him and whoever she is. I'll be finding out right in two minutes." Her wings whooshed with the wind as she flew around, crisp night air freezing against her cheeks.

"So far, the night's been amazing," she said as Jessie rolled her eyes.

"Yeah totally, you just walked out with him," she muttered, keeping low and seeing Kayla in the shadows. Of course, Bruce would totally disregard it.

"Elementa," Kayla whispered, "I have some news."

"Proceed."

"She looks like she has a similar job to him. Glasses, brown hair. Maybe she's a sister?" Kayla questioned as Jessie widened her eyes, looking at them about to trip over Kayla.

"Kayla, move!" Kayla panicked, but turned on the invisibility, sneaking past. Jessie got the information, grabbing Kayla by the arms, wings flying as Kayla almost screamed.

"What in the name of Sam Hill are you doing?" She hissed, not moving, terrified that Jessie was going to drop her.

"Who's Sam Hill?" Jessie shot back, as Kayla rolled her eyes.

"Its an expression, Jess." It was silent for a moment, before Kayla broke it. "Why did we fly away like that? Is something wrong?"

"That is Bruce's cousin, and guess who Adam is? That's right, a cousin. I'm screwed, Kayla. I'm screwed. That's most likely Adam's mother, and she's going to hate me and its going to suck."

"Jess, chill. She'll love you, probably."

"Which isn't exact, oh dear friend."

"Since when did you become a math expert?"

"I thought that was science."

"I revoke my question." They continued into Shield, shedding their outfits and trading them for normal clothes.

"Agent Hobbs and Agent Cush to Director Fury's office," came Agent Hill's clipped voice came on over the intercom as both cursed.

"Maybe he didn't find out about the ketchup prank?" Kayla's voice became higher with the question hanging in the air.

"He can't prove it was us."

"Fury has his ways. He found out about the whole 'gravestone in Steve's apartment,' ordeal," Kayla stated with a shiver. "God, lunch is brutal cleaning for the level fours."

"Your fault. Fury always goes on fourth floor to survey on Wednesday, passes by your office at 2:45. When you weren't there, he got suspicious, checked office cameras for once. He found out about the Steve ordeal, knew that you hated cleaning food off of plates. Done," Jessie said with indifference as Kayla gave her a surprised look.

"You memorized Fury's schedule?" Kayla asked, jaw dropping. "Why?"

"So my pranking could be easier. Plus, I didn't want to start my paperwork, so I followed him around, asking stupid questions. As well as his schedule, I found out that he hates Swiss cheese, and also adores three sugar cubes and one shot of espresso in his coffee. The occasional tea on Saturdays and Mondays."
