Elijah hands me a s'more and I gratefully accept it, digging in immediately. We had some canned food in the afternoon but I am hungry as hell right now. Blame my metabolism.
After we are done with food and I can have no more, I am almost ready to announce that I am about to head to bed when Bryce says "So, now time for a horror story!"
"What are we, Bryce like five?" Jackie, who is seated right beside me mocks him.
Bryce shrugs innocently "Scary stories are a must for camping"
Landry shivers next to Elijah and shakes his head in a violent no "Please, if that is exactly what you are going to do then pardon me"
Rafael chuckles "Why? Are you that scared of some fake stories?"
Landry is offended as expected and he pouts "I-I am not scared of anything, especially a fake story but I don't feel like hearing any of your idiotic lies right now"
"So perhaps, you can suggest what we do" questions Bryce with a grin.
"We-We head to bed, that's what I suggest!" Landry replies nervously.
"Hell no!" exclaims Jackie "We play truth and truth because all of you are huge ass chickens and won't do any dares"
"I doubt that..." Bryce narrows his eyes.
"I think we agree" Elijah says "Since it was your idea, how about you go first" he adds.
"Sure however, the public decides if the person is telling the truth or not" she replies.
None of us disagree and Bryce gives her the question "So, Miss Varma. Tell us about your best ever hookup and with whom it was" his eyes glimmer with knottiness.
"First of all, it is 'Dr. Varma'. I didn't go to Med school to be called Miss afterwards" she informs him.
"Next, I really hope that your male-ego can handle the answer because it is not at all what you desire to hear" and she smiles.
Bryce shrugs "Shoot!"
"It was with the most attractive girl in my batch, in Med School. Her name was Claudia and she had been dropping hints that she was looking for experimenting... I was too so we hooked up" she sounds as cool as ever.
The rest of us hoot for her but she raises her hands to stop us, like those politicians do while making an address and their supporters are singing their praises.
"The best part was... we hooked up at her ex-boyfriend's apartment, on his bed and later on drank an expensive wine of his!"
"Jackie! That was way too much. Poor guy!" gasps Sienna.
Jackie nods "Well, I am not a saint and I was even more immature back then... so yeah. I accept my mistake for the wine thing" although I can hardly see any remorse in her eyes.
"You next, Bryce. Tell me how and to whom did you lose your virginity" Jackie as expected targets Bryce.
Bryce clears his throat "So I was 23..." but Jackie cuts him off with a genuine gasp of shock.
"23? Really? I was expecting to hear 16 or 17" she says shocked.
"Well... I may look like a playboy and all and the kind of guy who slept around with everybody since High School but no. I actually loved my girlfriend and we discussed it. I always used to guide people on their sex life with no practical experience of my own" he laughs.
"Did she lose it to you as well?" she questions.
"No, she had lost it a few years back but I was more than fine with it" he says.
