What Happens After

Felix Alexander's POV

She seems like she is emitting fire right now. Her aura is so visible to me. Does she want some privacy? Should I just leave? I am still confused.

"Felix?" her voice was so low that I hardly heard her.

"Yes?" I gulp, feeling scared all of a sudden.

"I... I did it. I broke up with him" she says in the same grave tone.

Please don't cry, please don't be regretting it, please don't run after him.

She turns her face towards me "I did it!" she is smiling as brightly as the Sun.

I also force a smile "Y-Yeah you did. You kicked him..."

"Out of my life, yes! I am so happy, Felix!" she literally starts hopping happily. Her face shows that she is happy from within.

After her little hopping session, she turns to me "May I hug you?"

Instead of giving her a direct answer, I open my arms for her. She bites her lower lip before wrapping her arms around my torso and pulling me in her warm embrace.

I also hold her tight in response.

"It would have not been possible without you being there for me. Thank you for being so patient with me all this while" She whispers.

"Hopefully, you will be as happy as you deserve to be now" I reply.

She holds me tighter and suddenly she starts hopping with happiness.

"Hey!" I exclaim in surprise. She keeps bouncing happily.

"I am just SO DAMN HAPPY!" she yells. I laugh and begin hopping while holding her tight in my arms.

When we stop, she stays in my arms for a minute more before finally pulling back. I drink in her gorgeous features.

"I could stare at this smile of yours for an eternity. I have prayed since so long to see you this genuinely happy" I confess to her.

She shyly looks towards the ground "Maybe I have also waited a long time to hear that from you"

Something blooms in my heart and I take a deep, stunned breath in. That was so sweet.

"I could honestly hug you for like, a whole ass hour but we gotta go back to our patients now" she says shyly.

I chuckle along with her "Yes, you are right. You got your entire life to celebrate now".

Surprisingly, she holds my hand quite firmly. Our fingers intertwine. Could she actually be thinking about us? I mean really 'Us'? No, no. Way too quick to think that way.

With her hand in mine, we head back inside the Hospital.

The entire evening belongs to Sienna. Except Landry, who goes to bed early, all of us including Bryce celebrate Sienna's break-up with burgers, French fries, onion rings, beer and malt. I am avoiding alcohol. When Sienna sees this, she follows suit. Even though, the others don't take a breath of relief till they make her have half a glass of beer.

"In happiness, we drink beer and in sadness, we have expensive wine! This is the rule and this is such a happy break-up. I could chug an entire carton on your behalf" Bryce comments, it makes everyone laugh.

"I would have no problem if I didn't care for your liver. It already faces so much torture from your drinking habits all the time. Don't want it to curse me for giving it trouble" Sienna jokes. A drunk Bryce laughs really loudly and almost falls off the couch.
