Felix Alexander's POV

I can't stop pacing around in our living room. I'm sure that the pressure with which I'm walking around on the wooden floor is more than enough to set Landry's teeth on the edge. Wonder why he's not complained that the floor is shaking like crazy. Where are his spider senses today? Anyways... Sienna is not home yet.

After leaving the Emerson's house, I came straight back home. There was literally no point in going out for a drive. You need a mood for it... and the only mood I'm in is to break Wayne's nose! Regardless of what Bryan and Marcela have to say about him (I'm sure it is nothing good) I have the right to teach that swine a lesson. He made Sienna wait outside his door not just once but twice before. Perhaps, even more than twice. Who knows how much that guard is aware of?

Should I have taken Bryan or Marcela's phone number? Maybe I should have done it because now I have no one to contact... I am strangely afraid to call Sienna, herself. Though, is she is not home in the next hour, I will call her no matter what.

The click of the door's lock makes me aware of my surroundings again. It is not the main door though.

"Looking good" but not smelling that good. How many times have I told Elijah to stop using deodorants? Why can't he use some nice perfume? Anyways, he has freshly shaved. I can tell because he smells of aftershave and he is also wearing semi-formal clothes.

"Yeah, going to Phoebe's house. She needs my help in a College assignment of hers. I'll be back in an hour" the blushes that creeps on his face is hard to ignore.

I smile. He doesn't have to explain wherever he's going or whatever he's doing. Although, I do remember that Phoebe is in her final year of masters in IT. What help could she require from a Doctor?

"Have fun. Treat her well" I advise.

"Of course I'd treat her well! I am not an idiot like Landry" he answers.

Or an idiot like Wayne. No. Wayne has passed the 'idiot' category. He is way worse.

Once Elijah is gone, I realise that Landry and I are the only ones at home. Jackie has also gone somewhere and now I can't help but think of that last beer bottle present in our fridge. I could use a drink right now.

I never drink. Not even on the weekend. Just with friends. That's the only time I drink and even then, I know my limit but right now, I only wish I had a bottle of expensive whiskey that I could just chug down. Sounds impossible but that's what I would attempt right now. Reckless and idiotic.

I pull out the bottle and look around for the bottle opener.

Ring! Ring!

It is my phone. It is my Mom.

"Hey Mom!" I greet her.

"Hey bunny. How are you?" she sounds cheerful as always.

"I'm doing good and you?"

"Great! Did I disturb Dr. Alexander?" she chuckles.

I laugh half-heartedly "No, you did not. It is the weekend, remember?"

"Yeah, good you are taking rest. How's the diagnostics competition going?"

"Mom, you worry about it more than I do, to be honest" I chuckle.

"Well, of course! I want my bunny to be on that 'All stars' team now" she responds.

"Is me being a Doctor at one of the best hospitals in America not enough to make you proud?" I question, amused.
