⠀ ⠀ ⥽♡ ˘͈ᵕ˘͈ [꽃잎] ↳ ꒰ 𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡 ꒱ ⠀ ⠀ "can i have a purple one?" jungkook asked, his palm facing up and waiting expectantly. his other hand was busy marking his place, an index finger placed gently on the bandaid where he had previously drawn with a blue sharpie.
taehyung poked through the pencil case until he found the purple marker and switched it for he blue one. jungkook thanked him and started to work on his doodle again.
after showing up this morning, it was very obvious that jungkook was still very tired. that in it of itself led the two boys to sit on the couch and put on some morning cartoons. taehyung realized very quickly that the youngers attention span was pretty small, since it didn't take long for him to ask if he could color his bandaids from when he fell on the sidewalk riding his skateboard.
the older watched as jungkook worked with immense focus. for him it was all about touch, and knowing where the end of the band aid was and trying to remember where he had last drawn so he could copy the doodle he had in his mind. taehyung tried to hold back the chuckles. especially since most of the marker kept touching the boys fingers and now they were covered in colorful dots.
"how does it look?" jungkook sat up with a smile and set the marker down on the cushion. taehyung quickly grabbed it and placed the cap back on to make sure no stains were made.
"it's cute. i do like jellybeans." taehyung said, bending his leg up so he could see the bandaid on his knee better.
"they're hearts." jungkook said.
"that's what i said."
"no you said jellybeans." the ravenette frowned and narrowed his eyes at the older boy. it was anything but intimidating.
taehyung just chuckled and tilted his head, teasing the younger some more. "are you sure you're not also deaf? i'm pretty positive i said hearts and these are such beautiful ones too."
"oh he's got jokes now?" jungkook said, his mouth falling open and struggled between an attempt to look offended and simply breaking out into a grin. "since when did you get so comfortable doing that." the younger went to grab a pillow and knock his friend over the head with it.
taehyung caught it easily, not that the actual attack was that threatening or powerful in the slightest. his deep voice echoed in the apartment as he laughed, a hand coming around to grab jungkook wrist gently but firmly. "i made you smile didn't i?" taehyung said, and jungkook just knew by the way he said those words he must have been looking so smug right now.
"hm i don't think so." jungkook wasn't about to cave so soon, and he tried, he really did. it was hard to keep his lips in a straight line as taehyung held onto his wrists, only to let go of one to start poking his sides. "are you sure? because i see the signs of something showing." taehyung said, continuing to poke the younger where he was evidently ticklish.
jungkook jumped in his spot and shook his head trying not to smile and let the older win. but gosh he was so ticklish, and taehyungs laugh was so pretty. how could someone not smile right now?
you couldn't. it was the perfect moment. everyone would be smiling and the sun would be shining and the music playing. that's why jungkook found himself laying on his back trying to get away from taehyungs hand not leaving his sides. he was too much of a sore loser to listen to taehyungs teases anymore. the ravenette isn't even sure how they got to a playful wrestle, his back on the cushions and taehyung still holding on his wrist as he touched his sides.
taehyung isn't even sure if he realized how his hands had slowed, and they were no longer teasing pokes meant to tickle. they were gentle circles through thin material that soon stopped altogether and taehyungs palm was still sitting there on the boys tiny waist.
back against the cushions and the older male leaning over him — jungkook could only feel him right now. the warmth of his hands through his clothes, the soft brush of his breath as he exhaled warm air that fanned across the youngers neck.
jungkook thinks he stopped breathing, his poor little heart not knowing what to do or what taehyung looked like right now and the boy wasn't saying anything. he wondered if taehyung could hear the way his heart slammed against the inside of his chest.
he could wait any longer. what felt like hours had only maybe been ten seconds. but he spoke anyways, "how close are you?" jungkooks voice was barely a whisper, but taehyung heard it loud and clear.
"close enough," his voice sounded raspier as a whisper, and jungkook thinks he could already taste the mint on taehyungs tongue despite the space between them still. "to do, this." taehyungs grip had tightened on the boys wrist, both their eyes closed as the older barely let their lips touch.
jungkook was about to lose his mind. the past two years his life had revolved around sounds and touch and right now all he could focus on the rush of blood in his ears and the feeling of taehyung barely touching him. their lips begged to touch but taehyungs ego was too high and he was enjoying seeing the small ravenette visibly beg for more.
"hyung." it was so desperate. and it was all taehyung needed to kiss him properly, nothing too aggressive or needy and purely sweet.
jungkook couldn't describe what it felt like, to feel so frantic on the inside with a beating heart too fast to fathom, paired with the slow and sweet way taehyung kissed his mouth. the small boy finally snapped out of the daze, his hands going up to wrap around taehyungs neck, knocking off his hat in the process.
taehyung didn't care, not even a little as he pressed himself closer to the boy with his hips between jungkooks small thighs. if only they didn't need air maybe they'd still be kissing, because the discontent was evident from the ravenette who whined when the older pulled away. taehyung chuckled quietly, reaching up to push those fluffy bangs away from the boys forehead. "i told you i made you smile."
"shut up." jungkook covered his face with his hands and hoped the pinkness of his cheeks would go away. he could feel how hot they were and hated not being to see how ridiculous he looked after making out with a ridiculously handsome dude. well, jungkook at least imagined he looked very handsome based off the features he knew.
"come on up." taehyung sat up himself and took a hold of the boys hands to lift him up as well so they were sitting again. jungkook was still pouting a bit knowing he was blushing and probably looked like a little boy with a silly crush. he wish he could read taehyungs mind. because now that they kissed he was very confused, but there was no way in hell he'd ask any questions. they still only met not that long ago, plus jungkook was blind. and no one wanted to deal with that all the time. it didn't matter how nice taehyung was.
taehyung seemed to notice the odd change in the boys behavior, the playful pout seemed to be more of an actual frown. it didn't suit him well. but he didn't get the chance to ask, because the boys roommate came walking out from down the hall and stopped as he saw one too many people in the living room.
"oh hey taehyung." namjoon said, nodding to the boy sitting on his couch beside the youngest, "and good morning jungkook. what are you guys up to?"
"just drawing." jungkook said. he had picked up his knees onto the couch and started to doodle a flower on his bare knee. at least that's the closest thing it looked to, there were a few skew petals.
taehyung just hummed and started looking through the pencil case again, finding the purple one and holding it in his lap. he knew jungkook would ask for it. he always did.
