"Because I really do love you."

Javi stares at him, still doesn't believe him.

"No, no you don't." Javi disagrees.

Caleb sighs and pulled Javi closer to his body.

He was getting a bit cold so, he needed the youngers body heat.

The younger doesn't seem to mind.

"Oh really." Caleb says with a monotoned voice while staring blankly at the wall.

He finally looks up to make eye contact with the younger.

The younger doesn't look away, neither does he.

They just stared at each other, not saying a thing.

While they were staring at each other, Javi got a closer look at Caleb's eyes.

They were dark brown, almost as if it was straight up black.

And his eyes seems more empty.

Like, there's no emotion behind it.

He wasn't feeling great himself, so his eyes probably reflected the same emotionless stare.

Javi didn't know what to say after Caleb said, "Oh really?"

What does that mean, "Oh really?" ?

That doesn't really say that Javi's right of what he said.

That he doesn't really love him.

It didn't make sense.

They became friends only a few weeks ago.

There's no way he could fall in love right away.

And besides, Javi was a guy, and so was Caleb.

Javi assumed he was straight. So liking him was not possible.

"I get it,"

Caleb finally speaks, not tolerating the quietness of the room any longer.

Caleb gently removes Javi from his lap, and places him on the couch.

The younger was still looking at him, but now, with confusion.

"I'll just leave for now. I'll take a short break from being your caregiver, I'm not that good at it anyways. Just, remember to eat breakfast."

Caleb stands up and went to the door to leave, not looking back.

The younger was confused, but didn't stop Caleb from leaving.

When he hears the door close, tears roll down his face.

Little Javi has come back.

And he didn't like how his daddy looked.

And also didn't like what Big Javi said to his daddy.
